People don’t seem to value principles these days
----------------------------------------------------------------------
People tend not to tbf, not now, not ever.
Marilyn Monroe has been credited with saying now that she's famous she'll "never have to suck another Jew d*ck," implying she had done previously when she was an up and coming model/actress, and that was in the 50s.

She starred in a x rated movie before she was famous, openly available on the web. She was a well known bike.

"I, too, was asked if I wanted a massage, champagne, strawberries," she wrote. "I, too, sat in that chair paralyzed by mounting fear when he suggested we shower together. What could I do? How not to offend this man, this gatekeeper, who could anoint or destroy me?
"It was clear that there was only one direction he wanted this encounter to go in, and that was sxx or some version of an erotic exchange. I was able to gather myself together - a bundle of firing nerves, hands trembling, voice lost in my throat - and leave the room.
"I later sat in my hotel room alone and wept. I wept because I had gone up the elevator when I knew better. I wept because I had let him touch my shoulders. I wept because at other times in my life, under other circumstances, I had not been able to leave."
=======================
Getting embarassing this now for some of these women, wept because he touched her shoulders.
paralyzed with fear because he sugegsted a shower?
who raised these people, what cotton balls were used?
nearly as bad as CD claims tbh.
You're a fvcking pr!ck Stretty and I really mean that
I really dont care you tool
what that woman said is cringe worthy and if you agree with her your enabling this ridiculous chit
what that woman said is cringe worthy and if you agree with her your enabling this ridiculous chit
=======================================================
I doubt that ja606 is a must-read in Hollywood, Stretty, so not sure anything’s being “enabled” on here.
She was asked by the Press to recount her experience, and she did so...not sure what there is to “agree or disagree” with.
Don’t know what your beef is, but if you’re defending Harvey’s right to invite a woman back to a hotel-room and then whack one off into a plant-pot in front of her, I think you may be on a losing wicket.
One such incident might be possible to defend, but when it amounts to an army of complaints, Plod gets interested, and Harvey’s got his work cut out to explain it. It could be a conspiracy, but it’s going to be a stretch to convince anybody of that.
Perhaps it’s “PC gone mad”,but I think most people could have worked out that it might lead to this, even supposing they’d ever had the desire to do it. He’s a b3llend who took his chances, and is now facing the payoff.
It’s perfectly possible, easy in fact, to have a very active s3x-life without attracting the attention of Plod.
If Harvey couldn’t manage it, that’s his problem, and if I, for one, don’t give a monkey’s, I don’t think that would make me either an “enabler” or a “disabler”.

Im literally refrencing this one incident above, the woman to be frank, sounds ridiculous. what is she even complaining about? what was she worried about? why is she trying to play the victim because he touched her shoulder?
is that where we are as a society, molly coddling people who have had nothing wrong done to them because others have?
Her, Delevine, paltrow etc all in recent weeks have come out and been made out to be victims, not one of them has a credible story.
Others have, fair play to them, they came forward and their allegations should be taken seriously.
Others are jumping on the bandwagon and are getting sympathy for no reason whatsover.
why is she trying to play the victim because he touched her shoulder?
=======================================================
I haven’t seen the full story, but I suspect that touching her shoulder is just a passing detail, to demonstrate one of a number of small steps when she felt she should have called a halt to it, and didn’t. Which is what made her feel remorseful and self-questioning.
Just a guess, but she may be illustrating that each small step on its own doesn’t feel worthy of a complaint, but progresses collectively into a situation that she eventually felt trapped by. It may be that she wants other women who haven’t yet experienced it that that’s how it happens.
Given Harvey’s proclivities, I doubt that touching her shoulder is all there is to it. I don’t know, I realise I’m passing up the opportunity to come across as a real hard-on, with this, but I can’t help thinking Harvey’s cooking in his own sheite.
Obviously Stretty is a complete and utter . But he does have a point on this bandwagon jumping.
But he does have a point on this bandwagon jumping.
===========================================================
And how the fvck would you know whether it’s bandwagon jumping?
Because she mentioned him touching her shoulder?....that’s the evidence?
If you’re caught sh@gging one sheep, you’ll forever be known as a sheep-sh@gger. Harvey has now ensured himself a place in history as an infamous perv.
Whether or not it’s 10 women, or 100, or 1000, and whether or not there are bandwagon-jumpers among them, is a minor irrelevance. The Press has him in the headlights, and they aren’t going to turn them off any time soon.
Harvey knows exactly how it all works.
It's a self-made bucket of sheite, and now it's being poured all over him. If he didn't know that was the likely outcome, he's even more of a bell than he seemed.
Mick Jagger’s seen more clunge than a veteran gynaecologist, but he’s not having a bucket of sheite poured over him, is he? Presumably because he wasn’t a b3llend about it.
I genuinely think some people don't know what sexual harassment is tbh which in 2017 is a sad state of affairs.

Even worse, people seem to have a "blind spot" regarding consent now too. Just as an example, I recently watched Mad Man and have since gone over the articles, reviews etc and a character is CLEARLY raped on the programme and people were unsure as to what was happening although it was obvious what had happened.

I look at their involvement slightly differently. The likes of Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence - they're big names, big stars. Their complaints aren't nearly as significant as others but they'll be headline news irrespective. They know this.
I think that many of the bigger names are using their celebrity to highlight something which is wrong. I really don't have an issue with that.
It's perhaps not necessary now, the story has a life of it's own, but early days I really don't mind the big names keeping on spotlight on Weinstein.
