They would have to pay me to travel to Wembley on Wednesday night for a game against Barnsley.

Not worth the hassle one bit. You’ll find it’ll be similar v West Ham this week
----------------------------------------------------------------------

United fans travel from all over to see their club every week.

At £5/£10 a ticket I would happily travel to Wembley. I could walk to Neasden get an Uber home to Hammersmith with the cash I save on a ticket at the Bridge
----------------------------------------------------------------------
United are the biggest club in England and not far off the world too so have fans in every corner of the country.

We hold the highest ever attendance V Bayern Leverkusen & higest premier league attendance too.

Madrid is likely to break both records ( assuming segregation isn’t bigger )

One thing is certain is we’ll have no probs filling the new stadium
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You won't.

And now you have some big wins under your belt at Wembley, I reckon your attendances will go up too.

You will fill it v Ars and United hopefully.

Your fans were far too negative about Wembley from the beginning.

CORR: You won't have problems filling WHL.

Most teams would with our shocking record

It’s the whole Wembley experience that is just a nightmare especially if live a bit further out and have to use Wembley Central.

Can’t wait to get back home tbh

All my pals Hammersmith Fulham etc so we can get to Wembley easier.

We will certainly get bigger crowds than you for our first season at Wembley, if tickets are as cheap as Spurs.

Then they will drop off for sure.

Anyway we will have 3 seasons of it. You only have 1, so you should just suck it up in my opinion.

As someone who used to travel round the country to see Alan Mayes and Micky Fillery, you lot seem to be whining a lot about 90 mins travel to see the likes of Kane and Alli

Well, Spurs get 26k v Gillingham at the Lane for League Cup games, we get 41k and sell out for same games against similar opposition.

That makes me think we have more fans

Compare our club's attendances for Europa League games. We sold out most games, but you got crowds in the 20s... say 26,463 v Qarabag and Irish sides

Why did you send 1000 tickets back for your game with A Madrid? That just proves how poorly supported you are.

CFC wait til you're playing at Wembey - you'll see what we're talking about. The whole matchday experience is sheet compared to WHL where you have your usual pubs, have an atmosphere, doesn't feel like you're sat at the O2. Even half time if facking sheet with pic n mix and candy floss etc.. It's awful. Then wait til you get outside the ground. Over an hour wait to get to the train station. It's a horrible experience.

I'd 1000% be at WHL for West Ham on Weds. Only briefly considered going for the Wembley one and when I saw it was on TV, thought...fack it. I'll just watch at home. Maybe I'm plastic, or maybe I've been to 100s of matches and the thought of making yet another trip to that tedious match day experience to watch our reserves play is just a step too far.

Spurs fans have never flocked to the league cup games, it means nothing. The club just doesn`t seem bothered about marketing for what is basically a reserve team competition.

Spurs fans may be a bit brighter than most, knowing they don`t want to fork out their hard earned cash just to watch a reserve team match.

I have to say the pic n mix close to the Real Ale Bar at Wembley cracked me up. Do they think they are catering for a kiddies party.

And the concourse is so facking huge you could host 1000 of those parties. No facking atmosphere again. Used to love the HT beer. God I miss WHL

Spurs tickets are not that cheap, some are, some are still £65. I get cheapos as an OAP, but they can still be £20. Over the season I expect Spurs to average between 70,000 and 75,000, which is still pretty good. OK going for a one off match, but trudging along to games against the likes of Burnley, Huddersfield on a cold winters evening, is hardly going to attract 90,000.

I must admit Flashy, I have never in all my 60 years of watching Spurs been bothered about a beer before or during a match, but I sometimes like a beer after the match. I came out of the ground after the Bournemouth match, and I was gagging for a pint, but there are just no decent ale-houses around Wembley, so spent the drinking time just queuing to get in the station. I know what you mean about Wembley.

10 years ago is a long time in football, back then teams did put out most of their first team. Now it is just a runaround for the squad players.

Yes, Avram rested Makelele, Ballack and Joe Cole for that final. Why? He perceived other games as more important games: CL last 16 ties and PL.

Stupid in my book. Even M Mouse Cup is a trophy. 87660 fans also thought so.

What also facks me off about Wembley is all the corporate seating by the dugouts that are always half-filled cos they don't bother showing. I think at Spurs we declare actual attendence rather than tickets sold at Wembley, unlike Arsenal who decare tickets sold and claim that as the attendence figure.

Don't think we'll be able to "sell out" as things stand unless those Corporate caants decide to come along for the day.

Pretty much, bar family commitments.

90pc of Chelsea homes since mid 70s every season, I would say at a guess.

I went to a lot of aways in 80s too. All England tournaments pre kids 88-2006

Now only a handful of aways per season. London ones plus a European adventure, and hopefully an away Cup tie when get a big allocation

Why are supporters obsessed with Spurs attendances? Why does it matter so much to opposition fans? I don't get it. I don't care how many fans go to other grounds. I go to watch a match, not count how many supporters are in the ground.
