Not true, i have views too.
I sometimes rant against conjecture, falsehoods, projection, hypocrisy and lack of effort to debate the topic.
Mostly, I leave folk to it now, tbh.😂
See, no views just Fox news soundbites.
I really don't see how any President ends the 20 war in Afghanistan without the actual withdrawal being a disaster, but its done and they're out with 100's of thousands being evacuated.
What would you have done differently?
History will decide if he has done the right thing or not.
What ultimately Biden will be judged on will be 2 things;
- balancing of Supreme Court.
- effectiveness of infrastructure plan
These are the things that, IMO, voters, particularly swing voters, will have in mind. Both areas could go either way. Appreciate you haven’t been on much but the condemnation of Biden following through on the trump agreed plan has been pretty widespread on this thread, so I am unsure what defence you are looking for of his decision to follow through with the trump withdrawal and agreement with the taliban.
What is your understanding of the latest position at the US:Mexico border?

On a different, equally ridiculous tack, imagine the US administration still banging on about freedoms and human rights in Cuba when on the very same island they have an illegally-annexed territory on which they routinely carry out torture on people, many of whom will never be charged, see a fair trial or be released
Rank hypocrisy of the highest order.

They attacked Iraq in reply to 20 Saudis flying planes into the twin towers, there needs to be a new word specifically for foreign policy hypocrisy.

America has been leaving Kabul since Obama and then Trump confirmed this departure, because the West is tired of Blair, Bush and Clinton wars.
Biden admin made a mess of the withdrawal, sneaked out during the night, called it wrongly on how fast Taliban took over, and made a bad situation worse.
I would not have gone into Afghanistan or Iraq, but once there, a withdrawal strategy with time and planning would have helped.
Biden is boss and messed up, running away from questions on the withdrawal too.

Fair question, but have you seen the state of the tory party and leadership.
An Afghan refugee helpline was mistakenly directed to a washing machine answer service, such is the competence of modern Tory govt.
Perhaps the Spectator are seeking to start a conversation, or be controversial, or to sell mags, and not all articles in papers have editorial support for content.
Concerns on immigration are valid and held by Labour and Tory voters, and people globally, but there is no place for racist replacement natzi theories, imo.

The border crisis has worsened under Biden Harris after they invited people to come.
Harris now says do not come, so even she admits they got it wrong, especially during a pandemic.

That’s really vague. Can you be more specific about the situation at the border currently? As opposed to when it was making the news in March time? Have you followed the situation closely?

Elaborate, for a change.
Or just debate.
You hold different opinions to mine and half the country....you reckon judges make decisions on skin tone and I query that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why would I elaborate on bed shatting?
And I said nothing about skin tone, so I'm not debating anything with you when you can't even remember what I said

You could argue the last successful incursion would be Kosovo, which was “dem and Labour”.

Ok, but not if you are a Serb, mate.😉
I suppose if the West invades enough places they hit lucky sometimes.Blair, Bush and Clinton own Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya omnishambles.
Litle difference between rep and dem, Tory or Labour foreign policy Fook ups, imo.
Funny China do what they want and Putin walks into Crimea, though...and we do not invade.

How is China to be held to account? Who is in a position to hold them to account?
The Republicans seem hell bent on destroying American democracy so America has its own issues to deal with.

Clinton? Bill Clinton? In what way does he “own” the 4 omnishambles you mention? He left office well over 20 years ago!
