BREAKING: Tory rebels expect Sir Graham Brady to make a statement this morning announcing that there will be a vote of no confidence in Boris Johnson.

Only Brady knows the exact details, but this is as certain as anyone has sounded that a vote is on.

He’s not going to lose the no confidence vote

And he definitely won’t resign or call an early election

Vote this evening between 6pm and 8pm. Result announced shortly after

Good, if he doesn’t lose then voters will punish their MP’s even further at a GE for not ridding of him earlier.

May won a VONC but by then you knew she was toast, like this priiick is now.

He'll win the vote of no confidence and that will be another nail in the coffin for the Tories come the next election.

And it depends by how many votes he wins too. Imagine if it’s like 3 or 4, doesn’t say much for him.

Theresa won hers by a majority of 83

Remember Cameron's tweet back in 2015 about choosing strong and stable government with the Tory's or chaos with Ed Miliband?

Since then we've had 2PM's resign, 2 VONC and could potentially be looking at 4PM's in 6 years.

Talk about aged like milk

Also wouldn’t surprise me if boris just wanted to get it out the way on purpose, then the shadow hanging over him goes and he has a year or 2 before the election to try rebuild himself

Got booed at the party at the palace yesterday too, and in some hackney restaurant Saturday and at the service on Friday

Would love to know if May handed a letter in.

Brady suggests some held back their letters in order not to interrupt the Jubilee celebrations

I’m sure the queen would have been pleased

Problem for Tories is they have absolutely nobody else capable of winning a election other than Boris, even Devil Boris is still better than anyone they have who would they make new head, Gove? Hunt?

Rather have the greens in haha

The 1922 rules **can** be changed if the Prime Minister survives tonight's vote to hold another in less than a year, chairman Sir Graham Brady confirms. So no guaranteed year's protection.

Wonder which MPs accused of sexual crimes will be given the whip back in this confidence vote.

Boris gonna restore the whip back to Imran while he’s doing bird.

May restored the whip to 2 MPs to help her get through her no-confidence vote; one was later sent to prison for sexual assault, and the second was found to have raped his wife by the family courts

State of the so called rules in this country.

I heard they withheld it so it could distract me on my first full day back at work after a three week holiday in the US.
