She said yesterday that we spend too much on welfare in this country and need to do something to address it.
How much do you want to bet that means slashing benefits and not incentivising work?
Looks like this may be another record year for Channel crossings by migrant boats. More than 13,700 people have crossed from France already this year.
Last year’s record already smashed pre-Brexit annual figures (2020 was a total of 8,404).
Who would have thought that after Brexit we’d see the figures rise so spectacularly?!?!
(Well… everyone. Apart from Brexiteers, of course, who were told it would happen, but chose, as usual, to believe the opposite.)

Killing unengaged, detailed combatants and non-combatants alike is a war crime, yes, obviously.
It’s a sickening, evil act which paints the UK’s armed forces in the worst possible light, and, if left uninvestigated and, if there is sufficient evidence (which looks to be the case), unprosecuted will remove any moral high ground the UK govt might ever seek to preach from on the international stage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who can? Is there any military intervention from any country who isn't accused of this at one time or another? Occupying another country is never a good idea. The difference is that on occasion the British army is called out on it and in fact go through a period of reflection after always first trying to hide it. Most other countries don't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think as citizens we have to demand more than that.
Personally, I don’t want the supposed elite of the defence force of my country of birth represented by murderous war criminals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who does? But lets be honest here. These people are trained killers. Thats what they need to perform their job. So is there any surprise when a few fail to maintain discipline under those extreme circumstances? In comparison to other elite forces they have a good if not better record.
What the army has to do is weed out those quickly and enforce the maximum penalties possible. But their first instinct is to always cover up. I would love if it was not always drawn out like this.

New Tory education minister attacked free school meals as ‘nationalising children’.
Huh ... I believe I have heard this somewhere before!
And he was a chancellor as well if I remember my history correctly.
Can you imagine 10 years ago a Tory leadership race focusing on deporting migrants to Rwanda and labelling free school meals as woke or Naaazi? Shows how much of a cesspit we’ve truly become. And it’s all the English’s fault for electing these crooks.

Rishi is a cuuunt but a smart cuuunt. The others are dumb cuunts. Not sure what is worse for the UK. A smart Tory or a dumb Tory?

Tim Loughton is a bit cocky isn’t he for a bloke who’s living in a marginal constituency eh?
The BBC have released their annual accounts, and it's hard not to lament your career choice as a kid when you see radio presenters and journalists earning £150k-£400k a year
Once Rishi gets in at least he’ll save channel 4 by binning off his enemy Nadine Dorries.

I am in my mid 40s now and tbh the Conservatives are far more centrist these days.
What I hate is that we are importing a brand of distraction politics from the States who in my opinion are more right wing than even in the 1960s when racism and segregation was the norm.
Deporting migrants to Rwanda is centrist? This sort of shiiit never happened under Cameron.
Although he was busy dropping bombs on Syrian migrants so he was probably distracted.

At this moment I’d take Rylan as PM. But yes I will, I’ve said repeatedly here that he was the best PM I had growing up.
And if the credit crash didn’t happen or Iraq you’d wonder if he would’ve led us much longer than 10 years.
