Anyone in the UK watch LWT with John Oliver and know which day of the week it airs on Sky?

Have Sky shown/are they showing last week’s episode on the British monarchy, or have they bottled it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Monday at 9ish on sky. Not sure how much they’ve cut though, it’s hard to tell.

He’s actually right about hotel owners though.

I don’t see how that’s relevant.

He’s not though about referring to people seeking asylum as economic migrants. He’s a dog-whistling racist.

Surely the root cause isn't the hotel owners though. Its the reliance of the government on hotels. Once again the Tories are blaming a symptom of a problem they have created themselves in an attempt to dog whistle to the extreme elements of their support.

Taxes go up “substantially”

* Cut threshold 45p income tax from 150k to 125k
* freezing tax free thresholds until April 2028
* Dividend allowance cut from £2k to £1k and then £500
* electric cars have to pay VED
* stamp duty cuts lifted March 2025

posted on 17/11/22

Half of these measures won't even come into play until 2025 onwards.

Not sure that's going to fix anything.

From what I can find the NHS budget is £136b, so a £3.3b rise is 2.5%.

Absolutely nothing when inflation is currently at 11%
