Big day today for the NIP…
If the deal is signed and passed (with Labours votes) does that then put Rishi under huge pressure?
Not from the DUP - the Tories are more than happy to throw them under a bus - but from the looney ERG mob? Would the Rees Mogg Redwood brigade refuse to work with the party and force through a general election? 👀
BREAKING: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is expected to meet with King Charles, following her meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak
ERG’s tears would make for some good lubricant
Ursula is top drawer EuroMilf.
Charles will probably try to grip her
Is this Rishi
Getting Brexit Done
or
Making Brexit Work
?

The man forced out in disgrace to replace the unwanted man beaten by the woman that lost to a lettuce that replaced the man forced out in disgrace?!
There’ll be a general election

Boris would give her one
Imagine being even less competent than Boris and losing to a facking lettuce
The very people she thought she was going to impress and woo with her (insane) economic programme were so concerned about her plan that they tanked the economy in a matter of days, such was their panic about her spectacular ignorance and naivety.
I mean, congratulations to the Tories for delivering *successive* worst PMs for a century. That’s some facking feat that
I always knew Rishi was a remoaner
New: Steve Baker as he walks out of No10 says the PM is "on the cusp of securing a really fantastic result for everyone involved"
Big Brexiteer seems to be in the bag for Rishi Sunak. Had been rumours Baker could resign as NI Minister
I think even they are smart and practical enough to know that the party needs a "win" and the country needs stability in northern Ireland

Probably been told he’ll be on the honours list come the turn of the year.

Definitely been offered something to keep his mouth shut
BREAKING:
The DUP is expected to accept the Protocol deal currently being finalised by the Prime Minister with the European Union.
I see Russell Brand is now hanging out with Donald Trump Jr now they’ve both gone hard on Rumble.
The conversion is complete: left-leaning liberal quasi-celebrity starts ‘asking questions’ and ‘doing his own research’, fully explores the conspiracy rabbit warren, sees the red state follower count skyrocket and cheques roll in, and is magically reborn a ‘deep state’ nonsense peddling, fully alt-right grifter.
Sad to see, but the pipeline is a predictably consistent.
Forgive me for not really paying attention but, what does all this NIP stuff really mean for the rest of us? Whilst I'm thrilled for our NI brethren, does this actually mean anything for the UK's relationship with the EU? Genuine question, I'm fairly clueless with how things have been going regarding Brexit for the last couple of years.

Yeah, this.
Depends on what has been agreed (re wider UK implications). The main thing I can think of is food/drink standards. Previously the UKgov declined an agrifood agreement (SPS) with the EU as in doing so would prevent them lowering UK agrifood standards to accommodate FTS with the likes of New Zealand etc.
If it now agrees to meet EU standards (to soften the east west border) will be much harder for UK plc to negotiate FTAs elsewhere.
As always the devil will be in the detail!
Little Rishi making deals with the EU is obviously good news, but making deals and carrying them through the HoC are 2 completely different things, even if the hardman of Brexit is on-board. Baker is not Johnson and a lot will depend on chief potato and if he thinks little Rishi has undone his cough cough hard work.
