Him implying Galloway is the antithesis of the political elite is quite something.

He's been an MP for best part of 30 years with 4 different parties and has contested about 8 different constituencies

"Deportations to Jamaica are particularly controversial because some of those deported have lived in the UK since childhood and some are Windrush descendants.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You actually believe that a party which goes out of it's way to import people of all nationalities is bothered about deporting them.

Lets just occams razor this one.

1) The Tory party is anti-immigrant. Despite being given a mandate to Govern the Country for the past 14 years, it's been powerless to prevent the highest levels of immigration the Country has ever seen. It it powerless to deport people to Jamaica/Rwanda because it is unable to create and change laws.

2) The Tory party is pro-immigrant. The Jamaican and Rwanda deportations, the stop the boats rhetoric etc. are just distractions to make the Tories appear anti-immigrant to their voter base. Meanwhile they continue to prop up a failing economy with more and more immigrants. Gullible people like you and virtue signalling Celebs jump on these Tory created distractions and perpetuate the myth that the Tory party are anti-immigrant.

The Tories being anti-immigrant might have been remotely believable pre-brexit if you're stupid, but you'd have to be seriously thick to think it now. Even the Tory voter base seems to have cottoned onto it before you.

Tories aren't anti immigrant or even pro immigrant.

They are pro get that money and that's all they really care about. All the culture war talk is designed to appeal to people who they are aware are susceptible to such talk about immigrants and matters of race. Tories would say whatever the people want to hear in order to win and be in power.

What exactly is your point?

I said before taking a stand against deporting criminals plays right into the Tory parties hands. They must have been practically rubbing their hands with glee when those Labour MPs intervened. The Tories don't give a toss about deporting anyone.

They're f*cking criminals for gods sake.

Wow

You don't actually understand that the Government can make or change laws.

As I say, a lot of people seem to have been convinced that the Tory party doesn't have a mandate to Govern. It's quite unbelievable that they actually think the Government can't deport who it wants to when it wants to.

Once you unknot your bloomers about Labour MPs, you'll understand that if you don't comply with the law as it stands (not how you want it to be) judges will rule what you're doing is illegal.

I just googled how many immigrants entered U.K. in 2023.
672,000 not quite as bad as you would have us believe.
Oh well.

I'm sorry do you understand that an act of Parliament creates a new law or changes an existing law. What can a Judge say then?

This is what the Government has a mandate to do ffs

Unless the House of Lords is in disagreement with something or the Tory party is divided on the matter, the law is whatever the Tory party want it to be. Celebs and Labour MPs make f*ck all difference.
