Blessed are the train strikers.

Taking their day of rest off to picket railway stations with their new found dispute over stress days.

So it turns out Dominic Cummings is helping Elon Musk to destabilise the UK democracy. Cummings really is a case of his dad needing to have worn a condom that night. An actual barnacle on the ship of UK democracy.

Cummings ain't too bad

It was obvious some weirdo was feeding Musk talking points but I was concerned it was someone competent like Gove

In terms of character yes but he's very flawed

While he's hailed as the guru behind Brexit, three word slogans aside, he'd have got nowhere without Cambridge analytica russian investment

He's also likely to fall out with musk over something minor before long

Multiple stories coming out re. the American free market dream working wonders in and around LA, with hotels, letting agents and landlords ramping up rates and fees, in some cases close to as much as 100%, as people who have evacuated and whose homes have been burnt to the ground have been forced to look for temporary or new permanent residences.

Fantastic for property hoarders and speculators The American dream in action.

They have every right to strike and protest. As do the farmers. As do JSO.

However, there are many on here that apply double standards on which protests should be allowed.

The Palestine protesters should just dress up as farmers and hire a few tractors.

Boris Johnson just called Putin a ‘facking idiot’.

I’d watch out for polonium tipped umbrellas coming his way if I were him.

You find this ok in your book after being paid off by the government do you?

A wrecked economy and they want to make it worse by forcing this irrelevant government to hand them more cash for less of a service? Cash that is recognised the government doesn’t have?

Fair enough. I’d have thought some protests more deserving of sympathy than things like this. Each to their own.

Ginge not a big fan of hypocrisy and double stardatds being pointed out so resorts to the typical Tory/RW press tactic of whatboutery on train drivers.

It's as predictable as the SPL.

Do I think people should have the right to strike or protest? Yes.

If you think they should only be allowed to do so if you sympathise with them, then that's on you. I wholeheartedly disagree and think it would make you a massive hypocrite.
