Not sure if that would be becoming from a Head of Government. That would literally be making the whole sorry affair worse.

But if it was Jewish people being attacked, and synagogues being vandalised, politicians would be under pressure to describe them as anti semitism. Which would be correct.

Criticising Israel for genocide is not anti semitism. Politicians are happy to describe it as such because it's a slam dunk, as nobody in the western world is actually getting hurt or being targeted.

I agree it's pouring fuel onto the fire to describe these attacks and islamaphobic. But there's an important double standard to be noticed here.

I saw a similar comment in a Whatsapp group, the black lads disagreed because their parents/grandparents were part of the Windrush influx which preceeded migration from South Asia and were treated appallingly.
