Not read way back, but I'd have increased tax on listed companies that pay dividends where employees receive tax credits to supplement pay. Tesco's etc
As it is essentially government subsiding share holders. I'd absolutely scrap ISA allowances too. My wife and I can literally lock £20,000 per year + all upsides into stocks and shares ISAs to shift it out of reach of tax man.

He's an idiot that's fallen for all the propaganda that's actually sponsored by the rich and corporates. He wants a nanny state for businesses but survival of the fittest for the people and the workers. It should be the other way round. Competition and going bust is part of business and the sector should be left to its own evolution.
We can't keep pandering to them while they stay up all night devising ways to save costs, reduce work forces, introduce tech that costs a penny to replace tens of employees, pay people as little as possible and pay as little tax as possible and stuff like that.
The people are charged to be patriotic and make sacrifices for their country, declare taxes honestly, but wealthy caaants, businesses and companies can just cheat the taxman and pursue nothing but profit.
Ridiculous outlook that would surely lead to our demise. They talk about the good old days but in those days the people and the workers always came first and that's why they were good times. Today they fack us and divert our attention towards immigration and culture war bullsheet.

I heard a farming expert on the radio yesterday, and he claimed the average farmers annual wage is around 1% of the value of their land. If you’ve got a farm worth £5m you’re taking home £50k. That is lousy money. Land rich does not mean you’re rich.

Did you see old Nigel at the protest? All decked out in his tweeds and wellies, told farmers to vote Leave to improve their lot and theyre still giving him a hearing.

Brexit is economically the worst thing to happen to British farmers since the Great Agricultural Depression of 1873

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not about that. The level of inheritance tax in two thirds of cases (farmers and their accountants estimates admittedly) means that the small farm becomes unviable and is lost or maybe taken over by a large corporate concern at a knock down price. Then there’s the loss of habitat and wildlife.
The children affected no longer have a livelihood.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I genuinely think it’s an unfair tax as an entity. Likewise we have just settled a 7 figure sum on IHT but thankfully didn’t have to sell anything.
I get the argument about benefitting from a market that can move dramatically over a very short period of time which means the value is distorted by mainly location and size of the property.
My belief is that the fixed sum of £325k never fluctuates to take into account inflation. So you could have a property valued at £1.25m which would roughly result in the level of tax you’ve paid. That’s obviously a guess as clearly I don’t know all the circumstances.
That £350k allowance stays as it is even if in 10 years time the property might then be worth £2.5m which would result in up to £870k taxation when during that time inflation could have cumulatively run riot. It’s a stealth tax as long as the level remains so low.

Really? I am a very content individual and there’s nothing much this government can do that will drastically affect or change my lifestyle or my families. So how does that fit with you?
The country has been sold a pup and you simply refuse to contemplate anything negative about them or their actions.
From that point and the very fact you know absolutely nothing about me; to call me clueless or bitter is laughable and childishly pathetic. That says a lot more about you than me.
You think my own generated success is the result of someone clueless? Of course not but then again I didn’t expect a much more nuanced response from you in any event.
Paying a few more points on taxation is pretty meaningless to us and you don’t even contemplate the fact that many people like me have protected our earnings for our children’s future. Amazing naivety.
How’s that working now?

My goodness. This guy stretches the limits of canthood with every post. What a massive caaaant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is just annoyed that his lot lost the election so badly and still thinks that the working poor, vulnerable, unemployed, disabled, homless, etc people who claim credit and benefits should have to pay to fix the up the country that people like him broke. He also probably thinks that by rewarding wealthy people more even more wealth will trickle down and raise the living standards of the millions of regular people who have lived in austerity and poverty for the last 15 years. Which is afterall what he voted for in the GE. More of the same austerity and poverty for them. The fact he finds it easy to boast about his own wealth and brags that he and future generations of his family are untouchable from any GVT attempts of a fairer redistribution of wealth and on a daft, annonymous football forum says all you dont need to know about him really. Deluded. Culer is a similar sad poster.

Just pay your vastly reduced rate of tax that most of you can still avoid, like the rest of us have to without question at double your rate, you greedy Country Bumkins.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s the spirit. Just arbitrarily tax all market sectors and then see what happens. Then publish your impact assessment whilst continually refuse to explain where this much vaunted growth is coming from.

Just look at this.
"The support from the UK government’s export finance department, an arm of the Department for Business and Trade, to Ratfliffe, now a high-profile part-owner of Manchester United Football Club, exceeds that promised by the same department for countries in Africa and the Middle East to adapt to climate breakdown."

And he still has the nerve to ask the taxpayers to pay for a new stadium for Manchester United, trying to pass it off as some public interest "Wembley of the North".
We give concessions of over 100b per year to these rich fackers and then they distract us with infuriating reports about the welfare budget. We've pampered them and now they're like spoilt brats.

I heard a farming expert on the radio yesterday, and he claimed the average farmers annual wage is around 1% of the value of their land. If you’ve got a farm worth £5m you’re taking home £50k. That is lousy money. Land rich does not mean you’re rich.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you see old Nigel at the protest? All decked out in his tweeds and wellies, told farmers to vote Leave to improve their lot and theyre still giving him a hearing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brexit is economically the worst thing to happen to British farmers since the Great Agricultural Depression of 1873
I’m surprised they haven’t strung him up.

That’s the affects

They can do all sorts of things to maintain their livelihood let's not act like Labour are out here ruining families
I'm selling my family home to pay the 350k inheritance tax on a house my parents bought for 11k in the 70s
Is inheritance tax unfair on me for being a Londoner or am I lucky rare millennial who will get on the property ladder despite doing nothing to earn that
