I live in the South West, which I imagine has some pretty poor infrastructure compared to other areas. I have a range of 300 miles though and have never been inconvenienced by it.

If I ever drive somewhere which is getting to that range I'll generally stop anyway. Car charge from 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes these days, so once you've been to the toilet and had some food then you are usually good to go.

When I go to watch Wolves for example, I generally drive the 160 miles and park somewhere where I'm able to charge it whilst at the game.

Majority of the time though, it charges on my drive. I actually feel more inconvenienced these days when I have to refuel Mrs Tamwolf's Nissan Xtrail. Petrol stations seem a hassle to me these days.

Another criticism I've heard alot is that you start with a certain range but once you've turned on the lights, radio, heater.....etc it goes down very quickly.

Is this something you've experienced or does it vary depending on the make?

Kemi Badenoch’s spox confirms she wants Keir Starmer to resign as PM and call general election

“Why not? We would love a go to get back in government and sort out the mess they’ve made.”

These cretins really have no shame do they?

Most electric car owners I know (including myself) are pretty happy with their electric cars. Infrastructure could always be better but that isn't just going to improve over night.

Trouble is, as with anything, it's always the moaners that get the most air time on any issue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The thing I miss the most is the engine noise.

That aside; love all electric now and whilst the infrastructure has a long way to go, is finally starting to show increasing improvement.

As things stand it’s almost there but that is mainly down to a still very low percentage of electric car owners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You need to get a BMW i4 Ging. Put it in sport mode and the noise it plays into the car when you accelerate is great. My 14 month old daughter loves it when I put my foot down and the g force hits with the noise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You mentioned that yesterday and I had a look in our car park this morning. Think 5 of our guys have it and they love it.

You can do the same with my car but when i switch it on; it just isn’t the same

They run off a different battery, like in ICE vehicles. Obviously like in ICE vehicles you probably get a better range if you turn them all off, but it's not going to make enough of a difference to warrant the loss of comfort.

The only real difference I notice is if the external temperature is really cold.

She's the only good one

Amol Rajan a smug git with dodgy connections and Emma Barnett is a freak who's dad was a human trafficking pimp and she thought Corbyn wanted to nationalise sausages

Another huge loss for the beeb

Amol Rajan a smug git with dodgy connections

+++

It's the smug way he poses to host Universally Challenged. Sharp suit jacket on, sleeve slightly rolled up to expose his fack off, gold, Rolex watch.

He has lots of bling in university challenge

They should also be compensated for the brutality and displacement.
