The ground is a shiiithole.
Ebbsfleet draw a lot of matches, they score a fair amount but concede a lot as well.
Quite a few league experienced players such as Aaron McLean, Danny Kedwell, Myles Weston and Jack Payne - but this is seen more in the attacking players. Their defence is made up mainly of journeymen players who have made their way around non-league clubs.
I obviously got completely the wrong impression then, but you do not sound like a fan. We shall see...
I'm a Dartford fan
We groundshared at Stonebridge Road pre-2006 for a couple of seasons.
To be fair to them, they have been trying to knock it down for a good few years, and I believe they are going to redevelop it in the next couple of years.
Their defence looked shaky, but then so is ours sometimes!
4-1 victory Williams scoring first if starts if not Copps and a crowd of 2468
Rovers to win 2-1
Rowe with first
4273 crowd
As it is a Cup game I cannot see it on iFollow, but I'll be willing our guys on. I think about 3-1 to the Rovers with Rowe scoring if he starts or otherwise Copps. Crowd... who knows...3012
Could be the proverbial banana skin but we will be stronger in the end so going 3-1 win to Rovers Marquis to find his scoring boots if starts if not White man ,crowd 3075
going for 1-1 draw, rowe to score and crowd 2910

It was a very scrappy game with Lawlor unnecessarily conceding a penalty followed by a goal well taken, but which should have been covered comfortably by the defence.
As I think was apparent based on Ebbsfleet's record, they do not defend well and we more or less waltzed through them to score when we finally came to our senses. (Incidentally opposing managers have cottoned on to "Fergie-time" as a tag to describe any goals we score in added-on time and the 3 minutes originally allocated at the end of the 1st half in which we scored was probably less than was actually merited by the hold-ups.)
But for most of the first half we just dillied and dallied around at the back with no penetrative play at all, Kongolo repeated received the ball in acres of space and instead of taking it up-field he usually passed it backwards and Baudry was the only player who was actually trying to build attacks having to bypass the midfield. Alcock was poor too and I must admit that Mason was a very competent substitute in his place.
Copps was the best player on the pitch but the score probably flattered us.
Thanks, Donaldo,
Reading the FreePress blog and your comments, it does seem the score flattered the Rovers.
Hopefully we will get an extended highlights so we can make our own opinions.
As I have noted before we tend to get most marks for crowd numbers in the DPL especially when it is a home game, but this time only Azza scored under that heading, so for 42 points to be scored overall without crowd points was impressive. Perhaps it was not unduly bold to forecast a win in this match, although when they were 2 up and we seemed to have self-imposed a ban on taking the ball much past the half way line even a draw seemed beyond our reach. Tommy Rowe was a popular choice for the first goal even if it was not expected to the beginning of the much-needed comeback. Most thought the crowd would be near capacity, but for North Kent, with much good quality League football well within reach, it was obviously not sort crowd-pulling sporting occasion. So only Azza went low enough to get points.
Uthred remains top of the table with a joint top-scoring 6 points. Thanks for your efforts everyone.

Thanks Mooli; it was tough to devise a spreadsheet with such a rusty brain as mine and its then a challenge to get 606 to display it intelligibly, but it's worth the effort to provide us with added interest even if we lose.
Cheers Don. I know how much time and effort you need to have to put such figures together not a 5 min job!
Onto the cup draw we will play either Northampton or scunny at home over the 1st-4th of December.
