A, No
B, Yes ( right forward in a 4231 formation

a) yes. I know he's injury prone now but you can't turn down that quality.

b) we'd have to change our formation to suit him, which might be risky. Back to the 4-2-3-1

----------Lloris---------
Trippier - Toby - Vert - Rose
-----Wanyama - Dembele----
Alli - Eriksen - Bale
---------Kane----------

So effectively dropping Sanchez to get him in.

Sell Danny Rose and bring Bale back in his original position of left back, in a 352!

--------------------------------------------------------------------
That would be interesting to see, doubt he would fancy that though.

The price will be too much for Spurs anyway.

It's like you haven't heard of our special relationship with Real Madrid. They'll sort us out

Bale + £140 million (Levy money) for Kane going the other way....that's more likely. Real Madrid will not sell Bale to us unless they get what they want in return. Levy will sell at his price and nothing lower

He's never fit. Useless signing.

" plus we'd have to break out transfer record to get him"

What is your transfer record? About time you spend £50m on a player considering the money you make for yours.

If you want to go to the next level it's required.

Sanchez for £42m

Dont think it will happen, but if it did we could still go 3 at the back, Set up would be the same as the lpool game but bale in for sonny, winks, ali eriksen and then bale just in behind kane, free role almost

posted on 15/11/17

would possibly suit bale, not tracking back as much but still doing what sonny does, in behind the ball when needed

Given the financial package it would take to sign him and his increasing injury worries surely Bale would represent an enormous risk?

Talent is obvious so I'm sure someone will take the risk but I would have thought it would have to be an uber-rich team that could afford to take the hit on it not working out. Not sure that's Spurs. Say what you like about Levi but he's got his head screwed on when it comes to finance.

Man Utd probably unless PSG fancy another galactico-esk signing.

Permanently ill ! Why would you want him ? The guy has an awful injury record. And .....he dives !

posted on 15/11/17

Considering his injury record you wouldn't have to worry about who to drop from the starting 11. You'd have to use him the way you used Ledley king

posted on 15/11/17

United would be the obvious one, they enjoy paying over the odds.

Plus Mhkitaryan has hardly pulled up trees since he's arrived, Bale wouldn't have to do much to improve upon his record.

yeah i agree solo, doesn't make sense for tottenham, the only thing may be that levy is thinking a big signing for the new stadium and it will create a stir thats for sure if it did happen

It’s not just the financial package for him it’s the fact that every other player in our squad will be wanting huge pay rises from their laughable deals

Hugo

Trippier Toby sanchez verts rose

winks
Eriksen Ali

Bale

Kane
No place for dier, wanyama, dembele, davies, aurier, sonny! The bench if all fit would be very strong

Good point. You can imagine Kane's agent would be on the phone pretty quickly. Alli's and Eriksen's soon after.

No way should Spurs be thinking of buying Bale back. When he left it was all about himself. The team is what is now, no real superstars, and it has improved no end since Bale left. Sure he had a few good matches, but he also had some stinkers, he went missing in a lot of away matches at places like Stoke, WBA etc, when he was needed the most. Why disrupt what Spurs already have to accommodate a player who jumped ship at the drop of a hat.

Most players would leave Spurs for Real Madrid.

You have been referred to as the Harry Kane team.

There is again 1 out and out superstar, Kane is the new Bale.
