yeah you cant keep making excuses for it.Its like the argument Sandy makes about giving up the points away to the big teams and putting pressure on the team to make sure it wins the home games. You cant win a title doing that. Arsenal have tried for 13 years, it doesn't work. You have to take points off your rivals.

No other Top 6 team will play like :Liverpool did at Wembley. It will be tough this season.i actually quite fancy our lads for the double.

You are in a fight for Top 4 now.

You guys were due a win against us and it came to pass, but take Kane out of the side and it’s a different ball game. You probably need a few more top quality signings to move forward. Poch is a top mananger though back him and he will deliver.

Our record away to the top 6. 1 win in 17 under Poch.

Don, calm down. I get your point, but providing Spurs win the return home fixtures, then it does not really matter. The games between the top six don`t really matter in the grand scheme of things. It is the other near on 30 games where the title is usually won or lost.

Spurs were never going to win the title this season anyway, City have already brought that. Main thing is to get into the top four. Spurs will do that, because they are capable of beating most other teams at home and away.

Nice run of games coming up to the New Year now, City apart, and I did an article last week I think it was, where I said I expected a couple of losses this side of Xmas at Arsenal and City, but the rest of the games I expect Spurs to win.

Should still be very handily placed going into the New Year in my opinion, not to win the title obviously, but to finish in the top three minimum.

"A few more top quality signings"

Problem solved!

Wow surprised he isn’t a top class manager with this knowledge

I would expect Spurs to beat Arsenal at Wembley with a bit to spare. You had your cup final today mate. Away from the Emirates you have been woeful this season. FFS you just lost to Watford and Stoke I think.

If you believe that you are at the mercy of your genetic code, great news, you're not. According to the science of epigenetics (the study of how environmental factors outside of DNA influence changes in gene expression), stem cells and even DNA can be altered through magnetic fields, heart coherence, positive mental states and intention. Top scientists around the world agree: genetic determinism is a flawed theory.

Apparently there is still some hope.

Don, and despite all that Spurs have managed to finish 3rd and 2nd and are still in the top four this season. How bad is that?

Don, if it makes you feel any better, even Newcastle are winning at Old Trafford.

Spurs Remind me of a bit what arsenal use to be like From about 2007-2010, when we had fabregas, RVP, Hleb rosicky gallas ect. On our day we would play some amazing stuff and blow teams away, Just could rarely do it against the top 4, and when it really mattered. Which is why we ultimately never won a title in those years, or any trophy. Arguably played best football in the league over a season, just bottled it against big teams every time

Kane would be a massive loss but not as big as everybody makes out. We've been fine when he's been injured previously.

I would make our chances of getting a win at wembley quite good it will be more of a home game for us than you, we've spent a lot of time there in the last few years

Arsenal are useless away from home in the Prem though. Winning a home match for Arsenal it is not a problem, but away from home your are very poor.

I will tell you what facks me off... why does poch always leave the subs so late? wtf...

the attack wasn't functioning at all, and alli and Kane were clearly not fit, and yet still he doesn't make a change until 75 mins in the attack.....

by the time a player settles into the game (5-10 mins) he only has about 5 mins to actually influence the facking thing.

I reckon had son been on a bit more and settled into the game he may well have taken that great chance he had to make it 2-1 at which point the gormless caaaants that fill the emirates would have been shiiiittting themselves and it would have changed the atmosphere completely.

don't like to beef poch but its very very obvious and basic stuff in truth...

Wembley isn't really an away game for Arsenal, our record there is very good. It's our home away from home.

Thought it was about time we brought about a change to our not winning at the Emirates today with our away record and the general improvement of the team over the last few seasons, so hugely disappointing to not even come away with a draw.

The manner of the defeat particularly sucked. We've always given Arsenal a good game in the league under Poch but in this you could tell they were that much more up for it, and what I hate is how often we have to go behind first in this derby and put ourselves on the back foot.

I agree that our record away to the big teams hasn't been good enough overall considering how good we're supposed to be.

It is frustrating but if today`s game had of finished 0-0 people would be saying it was a fair result, we were below par but not as bad as people are making out considering our fitness situation.

An ordinary performance with very ordinary officiating and an extremely ordinary result.

You're a bunch of bottlers Don I've said it so many times before. You bottled it in the title race against us and you bottled it at key moments last season.

It's ok demolishing half the league season in season out when the pressure isn't on but I can tell you as a supporter of a PL winning club, that's not what wins you a title.

Your best hope is the CL because there's no pressure and nothing to bottle. I think you'll do well in that competition.

Best thing poch can do is go to PSG because he's gone as far as he can with Spurs

Not good enough!
We were supposed to challenge for the title this season.
Not any more.
Pochettino got a lot of things wrong today.
Started with a back 3 with no Toby. A back 4 would have been better, at least first half. Davies got creamed down the left flank all game. Lacazete just ran right by him.
Why was Son not in the game earlier, especially with Kane still injured?
Where was Aurier?
Trippier is no replacement for Walker. And we sadly needed Walker's speed today.
Bottom line: we were just not up for this match the way we should have been. Eriksen, Alli and Dembele all below par and beaten in the midfield.
even though their first goal was offside, we were lucky to lose by only 2.

So you are good at home, and good away, especially at Wembley, so how come you are still in 6th place.

Your season was a compete fluke, nothing to do with bottle. if anything your team is a bunch of bottlers, not able to replicate that fluke season. Spurs are still consistently in the top four.
