I've a €40 bet on with a mate that Newcastle finish above Everton, not sure hwo that's going to go, if theBS make a decent appointment they can fly up the table, hopefully they don't, I'll make another 40 off him if Everton also go down.

Roy will probably just keep Palace up and will then get loads of unjust praise.
Roy is like David Haye, get's loads of praise for nothing.
Palace's big hopes are Zaha staying in top form consistently, and Benteke going on a run of scoring.
But they have to keep Zaha in January, and that may be an issue.
I was about to say that Palace could sack Roy and bring in Pulis and then I forgot Pulis has already been on that particular conveyor belt.
To go down -
Swansea
West Brom
and one of the following -
Brighton, Everton or Palace
Then I *remembered I should say
Everton won't go flying up the table unless they sort the squad out in January whoever is in charge.
It's so unbalanced, loaded with 10s, no proper wingers, no real number 9 unless you include Niasse who was deemed not good enough previously.

There's plenty of scope to improve th eEverton squad in Jan, agree Ronald it's very unbalanced at the moment and lacks pace badly.
Sell a few of them number 10's, buy a half decent striker and put some proper shape onto the pitch and they start winning games.
Evertons defence is arguably a bigger worry than their attack. Conceded at least twice in each of their last 4 games and only one clean sheet all season - in their opening game.
That with their expensive 'keeper and expensive CB signings!
Obviously having an actual striker would help that as well.

I think you'd have to be fair and say he'd deserve praise if he keeps Palace up. You can't change the goalposts just because it's Hodgson.
To be fair to Pickford, he's the reason they've not conceded many more. Why have they become such a shambles as a defensive unit? If they're holding out for Silva then they may as well not have sacked Koeman in the first place.

To a point maybe but Palace have a decent squad, far stonger than at least 4 clubs in the league (Huddersfiled, Bourn, Brighton, Newcastle).
Keeping them up would be a good job but not amazing, also I hate him so my opinion isn't worth much on him, cause he's the worst manager ever IMO.

I rate Silva hugely and if he goes to Everton then I think they'll go up pretty quickly. Niasse was also on loan at Hull with him last season and i think he's proved that he can score goals in the Prem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Niasse this season has scored a goal in every 76 minutes playing time, which is only equalled by Aguero
and the the best is Martial with a goal every 75 mins.
Considering the service the other 2 get Niasse isn't doing too bad on the scoring stakes

NEVER
I genuinley hate him more than anything in football, in fact he's probably the only think I do actually hate in football.
How can anyone like Woy???
I think C Palace can still get out of the bottom 3 but I fear for Swansea, West Brom and Huddersfield

West Brom obviously hinges on who they can bring in. As long as they don't play a back 5 and 3 defensive midfielders against bottom half teams like Pulis did they have a chance. Rondon, Jay-Rod, Chadli and Phillips have enough goals about them.
Palace are gone for me.
They will have runs across the season but all that will do is get them back level with 17th. Then they will lose a few and go bottom again.
Swansea and West Ham look most likely to join them right now IMO. Swansea have been knocking on the door for a few seasons now and changing managers just seems to bring a short upturn and then back to losing regularly again.
West Ham are a shambles like previous relegated West Ham teams. Good players on paper but no leadership from top of the club down and fans on verge of proper turmoil.
Teams like Huddersfield and Brighton have less quality but have unity of purpose and groups of committed players and coaches.
I agree Leicester will push up the table but I reckon Burnley will hold onto 7th.

Damage was being done behind the scenes. He had come into a bit of a sinking ship didn't he?
I think it goes to show the strength and depth of the Prem as Palace, Swansea, West Ham, West Brom, Everton, Stoke, Southampton, Bournemouth, Leicester, Newcastle, Huddersfield, Birghton, Watford and Burnley are all completely awful. Which is what makes it the best league in the world.
