"I always prefer to go in these games as the underdog.Gone are the days when we had superior players and we will go into big games guns blazing."

OP can I enquire as to when these "days" were? I mean other than maybe a couple years, utd have had superior players.

The game has got a draw written all over it. Mourinho will frustrate and kill the game. Defensively united are very strong.

Is Baily likely to be fit?

The "big games" was in reference to games against all top 6 teams. The days I am referring to was the days when we had Viera, Henry Bergkamp. The days when Chelsea couldnt buy a win against us, for love or money.

Must admit out of all the away games against the other big clubs Arsenal is the one I don't really worry about. I always feel we can get something there. If Matic plays I think we will, if he doesn't i think it will be a big struggle. Arsenal always give you a chance and for me are the weakest team of the top 6
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Its like the recent united record against Top 6 teams doesnt exist anymore. Like Trump, dont let the facts get in your way.

But to enlighten you, the weakest team of the Top 6 has generally been man City, until this season anyway.Under Klopp Liverpool is the strongest. Dont know where united are because they are that bad we took 4 points from them last season and even won an FA cup quarter final there.

Add to that a couple of semi final and final wins at Wembley against Top 6 teams

But like I said dont let the facts get in your way
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What are you blabbering on about. Imo you are the weakest of the top 6. Given the choice out of which top 6 team i would like us to play away from home then it would be Arsenal and i believe many of the other fans of other clubs would say the same.

Don't get your knickers in a twist

We are poor away from him against the top 6 but at home over the last few season have beaten everyone

I believe we have only lost to liverpool and united in freak games in the last 7 years. City may have won a game aswell.

Just like the Tottenham game, I'm pretty confident about this one. We're looking pretty strong at home, and I don't really rate United particularly highly. However, the Wenger factor is still there, that is my only concern.

Even worse that you have 9 goals less than a bus parking team. How embarassing is that

It would be rather misplaced though.

Man City have only won once away to Arsenal in 20 Pl games. Spurs 2 wins in 26 away to Arsenal in the league. Liverpool have 2 wins in the last 17 visits to Arsenal.
Mourinho has only won once at Arsenal in the league.
Chelsea's away record to Arsenal is far inferior to that of their away record to Spurs and City.

All have better records at other top 6 teams grounds.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
What I've seen from United this season, particularly in the big games away from home. They're not a team that overwhelms you, they can be got at. Granted, my standards for what I consider to be a 'great' team are very high. The aspect of United that I do rate, particularly this season, is how clinical they are.

City are the only, what I would consider 'great' team in the league at the moment, and I would fancy us at home against them.

It's certainly a winnable match, but we're rarely favourites against Man U even when they struggle. They've lost a few to us recently, but beating us with the weakest team they've ever put out on the pitch in the PL era 2 seasons ago still lingers.

Far as I'm concerned, they have the better squad comfortably, are physically imposing, and if Maureen can get the handbrakes off his players, they have a lot in their ranks who can hurt us.

posted on 29/11/17

Well we beat Spurs at the Emirates a couple of weeks ago . We have won 11 in a row at the Emirates in the league including United.
Plus anyone with any football sense would take City to beat any of the top 6 away, so a rather ridiculous statement from someone struggling to defend a rather weak point.

Like I say give me any away ground out the top 6 and I'd choose the Emirates. It's not a point it's an opinion. And if you want to bang on about history then our record at the Emirates isn't too shabby

As for how Man U will play tomorrow, they do tend to park the bus away to the likes of City, Liverpool and Spurs because those are high pressing, high tempo teams. In recent years, they don't sit as deep against Arsenal. They will try to stifle the game in midfield and I expect a tight game, but I highly doubt they'll park the bus.

Crossing the ball is about your style of play, you moron. It has nothing to do with your attacking intent.
