I've been off JA606 for a couple of years now. Has HC posted an on-topic comment yet??

Serious list of players that need to fack off:

Cech, Bellerin, Chambers, Holding, Coquelin, Wilshere, El Neny, Ramsey, Cazorla (physically done), Walcott, Welbeck, Iwobi, Debuchy, Xhaka, Akpom

Leaving an XI next summer (when you include the exits of Ozil and Sanchez) of

Ospina
Koscielny Musafi Monreal
Nelson Maitland-Niles Willock Kolasinac
Nketiah Giroud Lacazette

posted on 12/12/17

Musafi will be the new commanding centre back we've wanted for years.

In fairness I think that list was on top of the article - so no Giroud. And Ospina, Kos, Mustafi and Monreal weren't in the list by mistake, I suspect.

Oh, and i'd ditch that facking 3-4-3 formation as well.

you really think Arsenal would get rid of 15 players in the summer?

It's a hypothetical list of players that are not good enough for our ambitions.

If you wanted a list of players that we will actually get rid then the list would read: Wilshere, Mertesacker.

For the next two:

In:
Lemar
Goretzka
New CB
Young, talented CM

Out:
Sanchez
Mertesacker (retiring)
Welbeck

How and why would you want to sell Giroud? doesn't make any sense...especially having Welback as the only striker left then? who doesn't know how to score for his life. Also why would you sell Ramsay? I know he is not Xavi or Iniesta but he is decent MF.

I would sell,

Debuchy, Chambers, Iwobi from current squad.

Would by,

Quality CB, Creative MF and strong Winger.

How and why would you want to sell Giroud?
---------------------------------

Giroud is a very limited player with a specific skill set. And although great off the bench i would doubt he'd want that reputation. It may not be a case of would Arsenal sell him but would Giroud want to stay a bench player. And let me make this clear, that's exactly the role he should be given: a impact bench player.

With regards to Ramsey, he's a very frustrating player who lacks the discipline to become a top player. Maybe it's a coaching thing, maybe he's just mediocre. Don't know. Don't care.

Fair enough Serial but he is getting picked for France ahead of Lacazette anyway? He knows his limitations, he won't get same money + benefits playing for WHU or Everton? So why not stay with Arsenal? I agree, he need to be told he is impact player and should digest that role ! I think he is fantastic sub player...

I'd love for Giroud to stay on as a squad player. He's significantly better than any of our other backup strikers and losing him would be a big setback if we solely relied on Welbeck. But being a realist here, i can't see him being happy sitting on the bench for years to come and i won't be happy seeing him replace Lacazette as our main striker. I can honestly see him forcing a move this January if Wenger keeps his policy of benching him.

Twitter was getting boring. No point in ranting anymore. Wenger was hanging around like a virus and that's that.

Giroud is going nowhere in January. Next summer....maybe.

At the moment Giroud just fears for his place in the France squad. After the World Cup, with two years left on his contract it will be another period.
