Hope bats plays myself. Poorly treated by the club
Poorly treated how? I'd give your left b0llo.ck to be in his position.
Poorly treated cos despite his limitations he's been offered no chance to improve. Probably got the best goals to minute ratio of any Chelsea striker since I been alive. Just think for every time he's been brought on in the 89th minute it could have been the 79th

because of those limitations probably
Costa limited. Morata so far limited. Given chances. Not putting bats in the same boat but he should have been given much more time. What is his goals to minutes ratio? It's fantastic

The sheer number of times he has saved our bacon should have warranted more playing time for him.
Agree Kuki but even without that we buy a player for that price h should have been given more time. Rather than 3-0 up and bringing him on in extra time

Before this season Iheanacho had the best goals to minutes ratio in PL history. That's not the greatest supporting stat for a striker to warrant gametime.
He's too limited a striker to lead our line solo, just like Remy was (another striker people wanted to see more of). If we experiment with 3-5-2 at some point he'll get gametime for sure, but Morata's hold up needs to improve before that's viable.
Remy was a great player just had terrible injuries. Demba ba was also criminally underused. Our lack of rotating players has been a massive issue for us
He's rubbish when he starts games that's why.
He's basically another Lukaku, seriously flawed footballer with a decent goal record. We weren't stupid enough to give Lukaku a starting spot so hopefully we won't with Bats.

The three most successful systems we've played the last 10 years (4-3-3/4-2-3-1/3-4-2-1) all rely on the striker being a player comfortable dropping deeper. Hence the Remy's, Ba's, Bat's, etc... have never been trusted. The real issue with this to me is why we keep buying these goal poaching strikers in the first place.
The only one who was good enough to leave an impression was Crespo.

Ahh balls to that. Yeah he could expect more minutes but he signed for the club knowing he'd be down the pecking order when he had an offer from West Ham. The club need to think about the club and the player is rewarded with a handsome salary.

Since the Watford game, Michy has looked a lot better when he has made an appearance for us. I think he deserves more game-time following these performances, however he has been injured for some of this time.
Before this he had shown nothing to suggest he deserved more game-time than as a late-minute sub to
poach a goal. His play outside of the box was woeful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
well summed up
Yeah...i'd go Morata and bring Bats on at the appropriate time
good chance we put him out to loan in January....four or five prem sides would want him
we have to find a replacement though....like Vardy
Thing is morata has been next to useless recently too, so doesn't really deserve to start(although can see why people want him too)
Pedro Bats Willy
For me
Nick
Morata has had a baron spell in front of goal but his overall contribution to the game is brilliant
Excellent hold up play brining other people into play,
May as well start with 10 men if bats is in the 11
I want us to continue to work with our plan b false 9 formation

I like morata mons, but I couldn't be further away from your stance on his overall contribution recently.
His hold up play has been woeful, he has been falling all over the place, the ball is not sticking and his all around game has been poor.
bats handy Goal poacher. Good to get our GD up when we are dominating games

You say we weren't stupid enough to give Lukaku a start, which is fair enough if there were decent players to keep him out.
However, his competition was a way past his best Eto'o, a lethargic Demba Ba and Torres - followed by a 37 year old Drog!
Please don't try and convince me he was worse than that shambles!
Brum...you're right of course...but it begs the question why Lukaku wasn't the preferred choice
