The amount of money we'd probably give him would make up for any faults in our current side.
Both teams can do better than Ozil, too easily pressed out of the game by top sides.
I think he's sensational in LA liga or Germany, for his sake he should go back.

While we heard alot about Sanchez chasing a bigger paycheck, hardly anything was said about Sanchez so hopefully he's not all about the money. He's seems more intelligent than others for sure.
Rival fans and the press rag on him, he gets plenty of support from us Arsenal fans actually.

Hardly if he had a better midfield to work with he'd actually be brilliant here. Moments of his genius go unnoticed because when we get pressured our whole midfield and defence go to pot and can't keep the ball.

Think you contradict your own comments in the OP here.
When a player moves to a club it is usually with the belief he will improve them. When it is a player like Ozil you can be sure he would think he can take United up a few levels. And if United wanted him you can be sure they will tell him of the exciting transfers they have in the pipeline to put them back in contention with City next season.

He can't beat the press.....
Also he doesn't have tactical discipline which allows opposition teams to.win the.midfield battle. There's more to it than occasional.moments of genius. Top players do both nowadays.
The strange thing is we have generally dropped points this season on our better performances. Some reason the more we create and the little the opposition do= we drop points. It seems we have to play extremely crap to win.

Today certainly wasn't a good performance.
We still had 4 good chances to score. We also would have scored if Pogba left it.
Southampton had next to no ambition to win though playing like 8 at the back and playing on isolated counter attacks. The more it went on the worse it got. Its funny they had so much space to go into but they couldn't even go forward. Watching Southampton under Pellegrino must be watching paint dry every week. Same for Dyche with Burnley.

I don't even know what to say....
Our last 3 draws in the league only one team deserved to win and that was Man Utd. I reckon expected goals we won all 3 by at least 2 goals.
You certainly didn't deserve to win today.
Leicester and Burnley you can make arguments for deserving a win but United were shambolic tonight and deserved nothing.
Re Ozil, United may not be a big step up but he will earn a lot more money there. Still expect him to join them unfortunately
For me, UTD's poor form highlights the fact that it would not be an upwards move for Ozil (rather a sideways move...at best!) regarding trophies etc. As far as the atmosphere working at Old Trafford under Mourinho concerned, he should be able to see that it will be toxic as opposed to the turbulence he has endured at the Emirates. He'd be nuts to go there.
Some stupid arguments on here Moving from a team in the EL and who might not even qualify for that this season compared to a team in 3rd place, in the CL this year and very likely to be in it next year. They are also a team that will spend a lot of money to improve unlike Arsenal and are likely to pay him far, far more than Arsenal will. Add to that , if he goes in January the team he goes to will have to pay a transfer fee whereas if he goes in the summer they wont so he will be able to use that to negotiate higher wages and/or signing on fee.
So on every level it is likely that Ozil will join Man U or another CL team in the summer. He and Sanchez can talk to clubs from january so why would they bother moving now?

Hafi, you are trying too hard. Trying to WUM that you don't think that Jose's Bus Parkers are the most negative team in the top half of the PL is stretching credibility too far.

It is a pretty stupid argument to suggest we may not qualify for at least the Europa this season.
Lose Ozil on a free or pay him 250k+ a week, genuinely don't know which option is worse.
Congratulations you made up no ground whatsoever.
