I listened to the game as I had to work and whilst I agree that he scores some pretty spectacular goals yesterday he should have scored a few more if his finishing was better.
Morata was also guilty of missing some good chances but we should not forget that he is our top scorer.
Both have missed parts of the season for differing reasons.
I'm just glad we got 5, and I'm pleased it was 5 different scorers. I'd rather have 10 players scoring goals than 1.
I also don't like to get carried away by one performance and judge over time.
I'm definitely pleased to see Pedro and William getting a bit more playing time. For me if Kante is playing we should play Fab or Baka, not all three.
Was at the game and pedros goal was class BUT like Jfdi said he probably should have had a hat trick. Willian played well too yesterday but as always it was when he wanted.
I just watched goals on Sunday.
The freekick that we scored the opener from was won by Willian.
He set up the 2nd and third.
He was fouled and won the penalty for the 4th, which he scored.
Even the 5th, Zappacosta scored from a ball that was intercepted whilst clearly on route to Willian.
Not a bad days work, he gets too much stick, sure he has less effective games but so do others, it's s team game.
His touch , movement and control for his goal was absolutely sublime
Im ok with selling Hazard for a huge fee to real, but only if we keep Pedro and use him always. He is by far the most direct threat we have. Hazard makes great runs but usually stops and changes direction. Pedro seems to only have one direction- Goalbound. Great little player and a very good buy for us
Pedro is easily our best finisher. Don’t remember him missing many chances yesterday. Morata on the other hand missed 3 one on ones. Awful in front of goal when the ball is at his feet.
I like Peds....but let's not get carried away lads...

Good idea, anyone got any stats?
I mean if you want to know then surely goals:attempts ratio is the only way of knowing, everything else is just opinion surely?
I still think it comes down to opinion unless the stats are so overwhelmingly supportive of one side of the argument
I think it always will come down to opinion to be fair, I learned long ago people will believe what they want to believe whatever evidence is provided for or agsinst

No they aren’t.
As JFDI said...it is just about opinions
Especially when the actual stats offer no supporting evidence for either case
Finishing in general is one argument, Pedro is definitely are most dangerous player from 20-25 yards out (maybe Alonso too). Off either foot.
All well and good saying opinions but to say morata and hazard are better finishers is quite laughable. Morata seems to only be able to score with his head. He missed the two biggest chances yesterday. Pedros chances were harder but the one he ballooned over the top he should have finished. Great player. William been good too but like I said it's when he wants. He's such a diva

Well what evidence can you produce to make an overwhelming case for Pedro.
I don't think there is any strong evidence for either, that is why it comes down to opinions.
and mine is that hazard and morata are better
If pedro is so good why does he score so few goals/
He scores goals with the greatest degree of difficulty perhaps.....but he misses loads of easy ones too.
that has been a problem for all our attackers this season espcially
Less starts. Less opportunities. Most times he's 1 on 1 he scores but he rarely gets in that position unlike hazard and morata. Pedro has 1 in 4 games for us despite having to play further behind than morata and hazard and others, with less starts and playing wing back from time to time.
Spurs goal, Everton goal, yesterday, the top corner one this year all point to a great finisher. If he played further up and didn't work as hard he would probably have more.
What easy ones has he missed? Even yesterday morata missed the easiest chances.
