Good chance it’ll be a manager from abroad that has zero experience in this league.

View, that's a big fat one, especially on NYE
I asked a serious question last night on here about whether the owner had had much to say and if he was the patient type. It seemed obvious to me that Warburton should be given a fair crack. This is Fawaz-style panicking.

Agreed. We are a poor side but there was definite progress and a genuine style of play that I think would have worked if he’d had time to change the squad. 9 months is crazy given that his first job was to stop us going down. This season was about instilling this way of playing and bringing through some talented youth players, many of which have done really well.
Never a dull moment choose which end of the A52 you look.
Pity they waited until all the "established" managers who were out of work had got a job though
Still there is always The Loony, his redundancy must be running a bit short and Billy must be on the bones of his ar5e by now?

Hope not. If the manager is looking for a quick win then I don’t think Nigel is the answer. He’s similar to Warburton is many ways.
Was he sacked or did he resign?

Which of those established managers would have gone to Forest? Garry Monk is a possibility but he may want to stay away after his experience at Leeds
Sorry Baz already raised the question. Got to be a contender though.
Caniggia, I forgot about Monk, he seems a genuine enough bloke to be fair.
Cannot fathom why the owner sacked Warburton though after only nine months, seems a crazy decision, but then WTF do I know?
On the positive side, this is easily the best quality thread over here in living memory.

Could be related to the absence of bears.
The circus never left Forest. It just changed nationality.

It is a crazy decision. We have been playing attract Fe attacking football and creating so many chances. We did minate possession in virtually all our games. But we don’t have good enough attacking players to make it count and the way we play means we are vulnerable at the back. If we still had Assombalonga up front he would have 15 goals by this point and we’d be comfortably in top 8. Daryl Murphy is a good player but he’s not a goal poacher or a great finisher. Our other strikers are young and still learning and miss a lot of chances. All the hard work to embed this ethos could now be lost and all these young players will be impacted.
It's not the team manager - it's the Club management that is faulty down at the other end. it's hardly MW's fault if his side creates loads of chances and his forwards will not put it in the net.
