Agreed. Continues to play our worst ever players.

He's a great manager but Sissoko & Lamela are the worst players I've ever witnessed in a Spurs shirt.

Why play them?

Well I guess Sandy is going to say "Son was useless and Poch is stupid to play him" again, just like Tuesday!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Son was rubbish Ted,other than his goal, he just kept running up blind alleys, and constantly losing the ball. His delivery into the box was zero.

We have 10 points from 12 over the holiday period. Most if not all, would have taken that before the Christmas games started, yet here we are moaning as per usual.

Yes I agree that we should have changed things around at half time, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Just be grateful we don’t support West Ham and have to play like them week in week out!

Following a brief reprieve from the normal Spurs bottling process last season do we think it’s started again this season..., will 5th or 6th be an achievement ?

I agree with everyone else on here that...
1. Sissoko was dead weight so we essentially played with 10 men for 75 minutes. In fact he was worse than usual. Why he wasn't off by half time is "perplexing".
2. Substitutes should have been on much earlier. Again, wot on earth is Pochettino thinking?
3. They parked the bus. But we lacked imagination to get them out of position. And we just don't have someone like Lionel Messi who can dance his way thru parked busses! Too bad!! Dembele should have been on, maybe?
4. Lamela gets an 8 minute cameo and does nuthin. Is that surprising? Give the poor fellow 20 and maybe he'll break their bus.
5. We really needed Danny Rose. Ben Davies centering was pants most of the time. One or two decent crosses when no one was there.
6. I like Serge Aurier. At least he knows what to do with the ball.
7.There were so many back passes that one has to wonder if Pochettino has a game plan. Son at least was going forward every time he got the ball. Vertonghen too.
Thank God for Son. He never gives up!

1. Agreed
2.Agreed
3. Agreed, but this issue was not helped by having a 'powerful' midfield. We should have seen how things were going at a very early stage and changed it around...Dier & Sisokko in CM vs a team who didnt want to play was ridiculous. Even Winks would have offered a lot more creativity than Sisokko. For me it was not so much about a lack of options, it was just choosing the wrong one and then sticking with it for so long.

4. Thought Lamela did ok. Technically, he assisted Sons goal but he also made one very decent run to the byeline cut it back accurately for yet another shot blocked by the mass ranks of WHU. Did more than Sisokko did in 8 minutes.

5. Agreed. Davies is a solid LB but vs teas who park the bus he is limited. We need pace and skill.

6. Aurier did ok but he and Sisokko did not combine to any great effect to create space for each other

7. When teams park the bus, sometimes you have to draw them out a bit. There were probably too many back passes but you want WHU to start chasing the ball to create space. Credit to WHU they retreated to their own half and were disciplined in sitting and waiting. Classic performance from desperate relegation fodder like West Ham !

You can't stop to laugh at the punditocracy of Spurs fans. One Week Pochi is the best tactician and another week he is another version Sherwood.

Yet again we see our worst 2 players on the field at the same time. How bad do Lamela & Sissoko need to get, and how many points do we need to drop before Poch realises how poor they are? Truly shocking players who should not be earning a living playing football.

Actually, Sissoko was one of our better players on the pitch today. Gave our middle some stick. And Lamela really didn't get enough time to make a difference, had one shot blocked.
Complain about Dembele and Alli today. And the conditions and pitch.

Man Utd win the CL when Spurs win a trophy especially the league cup. Funnily enough the last 3 trophies Spurs won, SAF won 4 european trophies
