Yep. Neither were a foul or both were. Both had minimal contact and the player went down. Both given as pens, at least it’s consistent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Klopp has to stick to his guns and say it wasn’t a penno. So he must think it was a dive, maybe?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He said it wasn’t a pen. How was it a dive, there was clear contact. It was still a soft pen, just like the one last month. The one you said was a pen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jus let because there was contact doesn’t mean it wasn’t a dive, if I put my arm across you in a bar would you jump to the ground with your legs up in the air? Probably not unless you weigh as much as a feather.
I really rate Lallana, and wish we had him at united but he ought to be ashamed of himself last night, along with every other player ruining the game by diving and falling over at the slightest contact

Are you suggesting you can make a racist comment on the pitch in front of the ref and action can only be taken retrospectively?
I thought Everton played really well and if they had a striker the game would have been much closer. They were really organised and played as a team. Siggurdson's goal was a world class finish, although there was a foul leading up to it.
On the penalty, it was very soft and Lallana the himself to the ground.
Holgate should have had at least a yellow, it was a very nasty thing to do close to the advertising boards. The exchange after you could see what he said but something else could have been said also. However I don't know why people jumped to a racial abuse angle as no racial abuse has even been mentioned by anybody so far. Well have to wait and see what the allegation is.
One thing is for sure, Firmino will be banned for at least three games as there is an investigation and he abused the player which is against PL rules.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
SENDING-OFF OFFENCES
A player, substitute or substituted player who commits any of the following offences is sent off:
denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (except a goalkeeper within their penalty area)
denying a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent whose overall movement is towards the offender's goal by an offence punishable by a free kick (unless as outlined below)
serious foul play
spitting at an opponent or any other person
violent conduct
using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures
receiving a second caution in the same match
There you go.
I would have thought that they can send players off for racism in this day and age. It’s probably up there with a career ending challenge
