Brace yourself to the change in tone when season 2 arrives

Finally saw Shogun, which's gotten a lot of hype this season. Wasn't disappointed. 9.5/10 masterpiece. Actually think it'd be great as a standalone miniseries, but I've read there'd be a season 2 and 3, which makes me fearful it could turn into another Westworld.

Interesting concept, who doesn't love a muppet?
Could have been a bit more original - troubled black cop in a secret gay relationship - ain't they all? Watchable.
