There’s one thing that annoys me about the penno. It’s that Jerome got booked which means the ref saw him dive.
Now he quite clearly didn’t dive so what on earth did the ref see?
Utterly infuriating.

I still haven’t got over the one at Burnley this one is going to wind me up no end if it proves important.

It was hugely significant, Igor: what is it that you find so offensive about people mentioning it? Were you the ref?

Significant, look what Burnley have done since, they were by far the best team in the league lead by the the best manager.

We had a soft underbelly that wouldn't even do you justice.

Look at it, Igor: why wouldnt that stick in your throat? I was there and they were obvious bad calls. We were robbed and so now when we are robbed it comes up, just like Kewell's dive will always be a sickener.

Savage is not a topic ever again.

We have had plenty of games where we played worse than that and won. Just didn’t take the chances tonight. Sometimes it happens. Refs sometimes get things wrong, they’re only human, but if the ref isn’t sure then neither give the penalty nor book the player, don’t just guess. Jerome made it look like a dive by the way he went down. Just tumble mate, don’t throw your arms in the air like a ballerina. In the brief time he was on though he showed why Rowett wanted him. Man of the match tonight for me was Wisdom just ahead of Davies and Huddz. Thorne passing poor for him and a rare off day for Vydra.

Teams rarely win every game in a season so a draw isn’t a calamity. I expect other teams won’t win every game either. We are the most consistent of those around us so we will probably falter less often than the others.

Before he leaves we must get Martin to show Jerome how to fall over to convince the ref. I was at the other end of the ground and Jerome's fall did look a bit too dramatic. That probably convinced the ref it was a dive.

Oh the keeper was class against Burnley.

I sat in the wolves end and watched Grant punch the ball into his own net and nearly got food poisoning from the after restaurant.
