Lawrence was poor last night. He needs time on the bench to get some fire in his belly. Ymann was a big improvement when he came on. Miss of the night was Winnalls sitter from 6 yards Center of goal.
Yes Iwas I think Winnall and Vydra had the game there. The peno was stonewall but we had the chances. A point is a point
He just needs to toughen up a bit, cope with the rough and tumble and come out fighting when the boot gets put in. He has a lot more quality than the waster carriers but we can’t afford for him to go missing
Much the same applies to Lawrence as it happens.
Where’s Heb?
Lawerance is frustrating me at the moment. I think he’s talented but he’s not showing or playing to his potential. Is it laziness or just lack of confidence.
Lawrence was unlucky that the goal keeper made a good save to his cracking near post shot. I don't think you can accuse any of the players of being lazy.
Vydra did lapse back to his last season habit of not attacking the ball but allowing it to run to him. Hence the ball was intercepted several times. he also squandered a glorious chance. The 2016/17 season Vydra made a little come back. Let's hope it goes away quickly.
We played better last night than when we have won comfortably. We have also had some luck with penalty decisions this season so last night was probably a bit of karma.
A good point against a promotion rival last night. We would have lost that game previously.
Lawrence will improve, can Russell improve?
We have the ball away too many times in midfield for my liking. Poor passing and poor control.
The players have gone for some warm weather training and team bonding and I think it’s come at the right time and will be good for them.
Jorvik, Rowett's opinion of Russell obviously differs from yours. His running at the defence last night appeared to be our most potent threat.

You’re about due a sulk 666. Been a while.
Derby taking “Dry January” a bit too literally last night?
I think JR can improve his shooting the final ball to a teammate not so sure.
Wait till Karanka gets going Wullyam you’ll be cheering when the bell crosses the halfway line into opposition territory.
They would have needed the bell inside the ball if they had signed George Boyd.
Villa 2 up inside 7 minutes!
Goal for Vernam. Another sending off for the Dirties.
Burton 3 down and Sunderland winning,
Dirties 2 down to the wall and Connor Sammon has scored for Partick thistle.
Connor Sammon has scored!!!!
HEB! IT’S A SIGN!!!!!!!
Forest 2 up! Sammon scoring! Parallel universe!
There’s Derby fanning worried that villa are beating Barnsley. Any Derby fans rather be in villas position than Derbys
