Good god no, morata is woeful at doing what a striker is meant to.
Why not mike? Not saying I would but curious to your reason.
Lukaku is better. More proven too and looks like he’s getting better from an all round perspective as well as is getting back in goal scoring form
That’s a genuine big Nooooooo from me. Honestly, personally I think Morata is a much much better footballer. He struggling because he’s not used to the physical side of the epl, just gets brushed off the ball easily. There is no doubt he’ll come good.
So basically both sets of fans want to keep the player they bought so far.
In the context of him vs morattas? Yes.
Overall = hmm.
Morata currently looks like a non league footballer.
Morata doesn't fit the agenda in what we require up front.
Morata had never started more than 5 games in a row in a season before he joined Chelsea
Showing the strain now. I’m fairly certain Conte or the next Chelsea manager will want better than Morata
I've said Morata all season but I'm not sure anymore. They are both not very good.

From all accounts he was jose’s first choice.
There is no doubt he’ll come good.

I would think there will be a lot of doubt. Some players just can't cut it in the prem.
What would worry me about Morata is his mentality i think. No doubt he is a talented footballer, but I reckon he's a bit of a bottler. Some of the big chances he's missed in recent games I bet he buries in training

Due to his form at Juve, I could partly see why. But this was before the season started. He excelled at Juve because the environment as a whole he was playing in suited him down to a tee. He doesn't feel comfortable playing in the PL, and we haven't got the patience to wait to see if he'd be a technically gifted player. He may have spurts of brilliance, but he's not consistent enough... and that's not even highlighting his goal scoring abilities ... or lack of.
At United, we required a potent goal scorer who was a 'beast' in the box, and we eventually chose Lukaku over Morata aside from differences with Madrid.
Lukaku has his faults but he's usually a proven goal scorer.
I like my forwards to be able to score with their feet so I'd stick with Lukaku
Lukaku is an effective player. May lack the touch but he offers something different as a target man.

Because I think Lukaku will improve on the weaker areas of his game, he’s young still and already he looks more able to participate in our attacks with the wingers and has provided a good number of chances for team mates with either a run or a well timed pass.
I’m not 100% whether Morata will ever fully adapt to the physical side of the PL, and the winter schedule. Maybe he will, with the right coaching or with competition if he gets the right strike partner next to him to enable him to be rotated (not crouch or Carroll).
Plus, I think Lukaku will stick it in the onion bag far more times than him during both their careers for us and Chelsea.
Also, team morale is obviously good for us, and Lukaku seems to have slotted straight in. So there’d be no benefit for me by a mid season trade.
Who gets to keep the £15M-odd loose change?

There is a suspicion of this, has to be said. Does. Appear a bit mentally weak. Lukaku in the other hand just looks lazy, and incompetent in link play, though he does pop up and score goals and mentally seems stronger.
