Shock horror, an Aussie spin-doctor trying to make a Manchester club look good. Who'da thought.
Disagree Robb I don't think football fans really care where the money is coming from if it's making the club win stuff.
United fans protesting the Glazers is completleydifferent as that was around money being taken out of the club, if the same lads that own City sold up tomorrow and bought united, and unveiled Messi as their first signing do you really think united fans would be protesting?
Slight strawman there but you get my point.

Close to £1bn now that has gone out of the football club in debt repayments and interest payments.
1 BILLION !!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know, I meant in terms of running a club, I think united fans were right to portest that, luckily for united they earn enough and have still been competitive, not many clubs could afford anywhere close to that coming out of the club and still be a top side.

I didn't know you were from the Palestine region? Where abouts?
There's barely anything left of Palestine after Israel have illegally stole the entire region anyway.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely not.
I might change my mind though if I found out they'd appointed a prominent Jewish executive and community leader president of honour and strategic development advisor.
Doubt that'll ever happen though.

Surprised the English media haven't kicked up a stink about this like they with the Qatar World Cup
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I remember back in 2004 when it was muted that then Prime Minister of Thailand, Thaksin Shinawatra was interested in buying Liverpool, there was moral outrage in the media about the prospect of such a thing happening..
The objections varied from human rights abuses, murder squads operating within Thailand in their anti drug war,to how many pair of shoes his wife had.
How can a club like Liverpool even contemplate getting involved with this man they cried.
Fast forward 3 years, he buys City, and the media narrative changes somewhat, to 'ah bless', 'little old man city might be getting a few bob, good on them'.
It wasn’t though, we got a lot of negative press (and the pl did in general) when Shinawatra bought us.
