Getting worried now

posted on 25/1/18

Gazides and co were back in London last night, obviously it’s not a long flight from Dortmund but so could have just come back for the game. I fear though the deal won’t happen.

Looks unlikely especially after wengers comments yesterday. Something about being happy with the squad he has.

Would be a shocking transfer window if we mhkitaryan is the Sanchez replacement

This will drag until the final day but i can still see this happening. They will try.

Arsenal probably just waiting until deadline day before they do anything in hope of a cheap deal. They obviously don’t want to pay Dortmund’s fee, so might come in once more on deadline in hope Dortmund get desperate and sell cheaper.

Won’t be surprised if an other club just pay the fee and get it done in a day. Seems similar to higuain situation few years back when we got our bid by Napoli

The difference in fees between what they want and what we are offering is less than the gate receipts for a do for game at the Emirates. Less than one single game. What a farce this club is. It's a similar situation to what happened with Xhaka except we ended up paying what they wanted anyway. I get that you go in early first, but at the end of the day, especially in today's market, £50 million for a player like Auba is next to nothing, yet were sat here penny pinching over a couple million. It's ridiculous

Maybe the Arsenal negotiators are just waiting in hope that there's a favourable shift in the exchange rates, so the previous bid in pounds is closer to Dortmund's asking price in euros?

posted on 25/1/18

I have a feeling we won’t sign Auba it’s smokescreen to fool fans and force Ozil to sign which will backfire especially after United seems to be strengthening on our backs.

I don’t think it’s a smokescreen it’s just arsenal being their usual tight so and sos who are trying to save £10m

Is Wenger doing a 'Benitez'? Going up in 25k increments?

posted on 25/1/18

If we fail to get Aubameyang what a joke that will be after handing Utd our best player could get ugly at the end of the season.

Almost completely lost faith in the whole regime and this will be the final nail in the coffin if we don't get him.

Arsenal haggling over a few mill whilst Liverpool slap down £75 million for vvd and get the deal done.

All this haggling lost us Suarez and countless others. Sick of this nonsense.

The idiots protesting need to aim in the right direction, our negotiators are trash

Giroud staying at Arsenal. Looks like Aubemayang deal is not going to happen

Wenger probably changed his mind after yesterday's win

posted on 25/1/18

Giroud staying is good. Would be stupid to lose him when he is different to what we have.

Dortmund are in for Ben Yedder. But the more we haggle and take the pissss the less time they have to buy a replacement

If he is doing it daily, he’ll catch up by next summer

Wenger just wants to drag it out so he can say we didnt have time to complete the deal again.

Can't even blame Wenger this time judging by the reports.

When people start realising this then hopefully we can start making change happen. Wenger hung out to dry while there is a shambles behind the scenes

You guys really think wenger is not involved in this?

Just because he isn't in Germany doesn't mean he isn't heavily involved.

It's been well documented that Wenger is in charge on who we buy and the value

posted on 25/1/18

Wenger will still very much have a say in this. Sounds like he’s pretty happy with his squad. And those who will release the money for the fee will most likely still be very much listening to wenger. I doubt the new team will have as much weight as wenger yet

Yeah this one transfer fack up makes up for years of incompetence from Wenger.

Good one, Robfather.

Beating Chelsea yesterday could have been the worst thing to happen. Wengers first said we will definitely get someone in and yesterday backtracked with the comments about being happy with the squad

Out - Sanchez, Ox, Walcott, Coquelin, Szczcz

If our only incomings isn't the last two windows is lacazette, freebie on kolasinac and a swap in Mhkitaryan then it wil truely be another disgraceful window where we will have seen our profits increase

Forgot we also put Perez out on loan and in general reduced our wage bill massively

What are you talking about moron. I'm saying a lot of out failings with in transfer market with the likes of suarez, rvp etc almost certainly had a lot less to do with wenger than most were led to believe. God knows what you are on about, a completely different conversation in your own head perhaps
