it is difficult to make comparisons, i would agree that none of the players Rangers have signed worry me or would get in our first eleven. However we have different aims i guess. Our aim should be to kick on and secure our stranglehold at the top and make further progress in Europe by signing good quality players that allow us to do that. We will not be competing for the very top players and we can accept that but what i refuse to get excited about is players like Lewis Morgan.

I would imagine Rangers aim was just to try and compete to secure second place and have a better second half of the season while strengthening their squad with what they can afford.

We are trying to strengthen to get balance in the team, secure second spot, hopefully do well in the cup and have something to build on for next season.

It is a bit daft to suggest Rangers are in a position to go out in January and bring in players the same level as Celtic in this window tbh.

If we can move forward away from Aberdeen and make strides towards Celtic then that is a realistic ambition.

We don't have the money to compete with Celtic for the title over a whole season. Simple as that.

I agree with most of that apart from I think if the season started today, our goal would be to win the league.

If we can continue to build, secure second and be ready to challenge Celtic from the off next season, it will be a fantastic second half of the season. Next season we must be aiming for the Title.
