Also if Celtic were to lose Sinclair they imo come right back to us. He's the most talented player in the league on his day and is essential to Celtic.
Man for man the rest of the team don't particularly worry me, i think we have comparable options all over.
That said the worry would be for the gap to close, then for Celtic to let loose with the cash. Although if anyone has to spend it, Brendan suits me fine
As was discussed on another thread Murty seems to have the capabilities to do well with the big games where there is a chance of open play.
The question marks are when we're up against teams that park the bus and need broken down. One of those tests will be on Sunday.
If Celtic win their next three league games then the league is over IMO. Rangers will run out of games (not mathematically but practically).
However, if Celtic slip up and Rangers can win their corresponding fixtures, I reckon we will have a contest and Rangers could scrape it.
There's something wrong with the Celtic team at the moment. It was clear from the first half at Firhill.
They seriously need to start performing.
Youngest boy is mates with Cummings and his older brother, been to a couple of barbies at my gaff, both brothers are fcking hugely annoying and I'm no aw that difficult to get on with to be fair, really I wanted to drop both within 10 minsππ
No opinion on the signings, not seen enough of any of them to offer a balanced judgement, but for realsies Cummings is a nippy fcker, you might think he got under my skin or something? πππ
Assuming everyone is fit

Docherty too.
Goss over Jack surely.
Jack is 3-5 red cards a season man, less inventive and generally all round worse.

Na you need either jack or mccrorie in that midfield to win the fight. Goss maybe better technically but we need an enforcer in there to ensure we don't get overpowered
That's the thing. We actually have cover and options now. A luxury we haven't had for a long time.
Delπ to be fair the aulder brother is worse, obvs learned behaviour, their Old man is a bit of a fandango as well, but fitba is full of crawls, they can still be good players π
I can only imagine that there's a whole load of egomaniac insufferable tw@ts in football Piff, I wouldn't imagine they'll be alone in any way!
Young guys getting wads of cash thrown at them for kickin a baw are bound to be annoying! Also footballers aren't known for being the most intelligent either

Real shame for us that we dropped so many daft points under Pedro or we could have a challenge this season.
Still think Celtic are too good to drop the amount we would need them too. I expect the gap to remain about the same size by the end of the season.
Positives for us are that you's look in a state of flux, there's questions around a number of players long term. You's imo are coming up to a time when you need to refresh the squad for another cycle.
Brown is 33 in the summer, no genuine sign of a replacement for him. Will cost a few quid whoever it is and if it's to be McGinn he's not at the same level.
Gordon probably got a bit longer but isn't the same keeper he was.
Central defence needs fixed.
Scott Sinclair im sure is a player prem teams will be looking at, seems to like it so maybe you will hold on to him.
Dembele probably going to leave, and there seems to be something between Griffiths and Brendan,
Key players down the spine of your team with question marks against them.
Expected the board to back him more tbh.
I think they will back him Ronald, i just don't know whether they will do it just now or in the summer. Preferably not to allow new signings a few months to adapt and blend but i guess we will need to wait and see how we go in this window. However i feel we will do no real business till the summer.
