Of now we get the players "we owe it to the fans . blah, blah, blah"
But we all know we wont get the performance we are owed. A scrappy 1-0 will do me
Meant to start with ' Of course'
I like Karanka stating that he will not accept excuses following the Hull defeat. Does that point towards a bit of a whiney dressing room?
Looks like Walker could be off to Bolton Wanderers on loan. Good move for him but I’m disappointed he hasn’t featured more of late.
PNE are a team Forest usually do well against at the CG. I reckon it will turn out to be a comfortable 2-0 win for the Reds.
Need a moral boosting win here, I'd go:
Smith
Lichaj, Worrel, Mancienne, Traore
Bridcutt / or Vaughan (DM)
McKay, Clough (ACM), Dowell (ACM), Osborn
Vellios
Kind of a 4-1-4-1 with two attacking central midfielders in Clough and Dowell supporting the big man. Think we need to give McKay a chance under Karanka, has the talent but does he have the right attitude, time will tell... Brereton to spring off the bench to support Vellios in a front two for the last half hour if we're chasing a lead!
Good team...but Bridcutt is suspended!
If you’re going to take Brereton out of the firing line and play Vellios, you’d need plenty of pace in the three behind to get up and beyond him. McKay might be the option in that case.
Clough seems to like him. He says Karanka wants him to play as a forward and not a midfielder.
He could be a good creative spark but not sure if he could play along with Dowell?

I'd play Danny Fox as CB.
And the midfield is very lightweight. Risk Bouch or Carayol to give it a bit more physicality? I don't know
Three at the back and Darikwa and Osborn as WBs?
Two up front Vellios and Brereton..
So may options; but I think Karanka will play the same system as Saturday so it doesn't leave him many options.
Looks like Walker could be off to Bolton Wanderers on loan. Good move for him but I’m disappointed he hasn’t featured more of late.

Karanka doesn't fancy him at all so don't think he has a future with us, don't really rate him meself he's good at winning free kicks that's about it.

Scored more than most of the other strikers at the club this season from a handful of appearances but so guess that’s not what we want or need...🤔
I rate Walker highly and am surprised he’s being sent out on loan again just as we was getting a run of games and doing well. Guess Karanka wants a more defensive RW which is why Cash is getting the nod.
Smith
Lichaj Worrall Mancienne Traore
Vaughan Osborn
Cash Dowell McKay
Brereton
Henderson, Fox, Bouch, Clough, Vellios.....
If Mills is off then we are looking light with probably one of Carayol and Ward going as well, with Walker gone on loan then surely we have a few coming in.
Wouldn't surprise me if Ojo from Scunny was one of those coming in re Yates going on loan there.
Cahill has signed for Millwall.
Ojo sounds like a bit of a rock so could be what Forest need. Leeds integrates too, though.
Millwall are welcome to him.
38 yrs old, not played in England for 5 years, not what we want. Pep is a better option if we can't get Clayton
Ward to Millwall.
Mills to Barnsley.
Good moves.
Some Sporting Lisbon centre half joining on loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.
Burnley sniffing around Worrall...
Burnley want to window shop at Waitrose with only a Aldi seized budget though.............
Crystal Palace are in talks with Championship club Preston over the signing of striker Jordan Hugill.
A fee has not yet been agreed for the 25-year-old, who is under contract at Deepdale until 2019.
Hugill has scored 10 goals in 29 games for Preston this season.
Preston rejected a transfer request from the striker in August and last month manager Alex Neil said they had no interest in selling him during the January window.
So won't be in the squad for tonight with a bit of luck?
