We are currently 9 points clear of relegation zone, Next two games are massive

Giving it a good go; but in these situations we usually concede rather than score

Only good thing is that we are through the back end of this run of games against the top six.

We really need to start picking up results though as nine points is a little too close for comfort.

So predictable

Confidence is rock bottom though super. They're all tough games when that happens

Two dreadful mistakes the difference today

All this change, and nothing changes 🤔

Just need a win now.

They had a go, which was more than can be said for Tuesday night. It was always a tall order to integrate so many new players in so quickly. A gamble that hasn’t paid off unfortunately.

Fulham didn’t play Forest off the park by any stretch. I wonder if Smith would have tried to punch a shot away from goal, though...🤔

Not too downhearted. Get Watson in and build the team around him. He is the captain this side is lacking.

Well, didn’t expect us to win but it’s abit gutting that two mistakes and we’re two goals down.

This is the end of a very hard run and now play hull, burton, QPR, and reading. For here we now need to win some and build some confidence.

We’ll also have Watson, potentially a new left back, and a full week of prep with the new players

Yep this season's goal has to be to try and solidify ourselves in mid table and build towards something for next season.

Terrible mistake for 2nd. Can’t be too worried playing away to a form team and not being dominated at all. We’ll be fine this season once these new players are settled. Burnley willl be glad they didn’t spent £20m on Worrall after that though!

True. Been a very tipsy turret season, though, so nerves are never far away.

Until Karanka really gets to grips with this defence it is going to frustrate the hell out of him.

0 in the goals for coun is killing us, we are incapable of keeping a clean sheet, and don’t score anywhere near enough to make life comfortable, getting very tired of Murphy, shape up or ship out.

posted on 3/2/18

Yep, the lack of Murphy as an option is not helping at all. How long is he going to be out. He didn’t retire from Forest as well as Ireland, did he?

posted on 3/2/18

Yeah we really could do with Murphy back as he adds so much to the team and is our best striker.

posted on 3/2/18

He is the best finisher I would say. Vellios might improve in this area if he get more game time. Brereton is game but isn’t getting enough efforts on goal.

Warburton has been talking to the press saying he felt there was a lack of clarity from the owners over what they wanted to achieve this season. Worrying as the message in the summer was that the club was in intensive care. Karanka has come in and talked about building towards promotion but has got off to a very underwhelming start. Most of the new signings are loans so does that mean he might be under pressure should the team continue to fall away from the top half of the table?...

Consolidation and mid table is the very best we can hope for this season, expecting anything else would be foolish. This management needs to back Karanka [as it seems they did in the transfer window], and build for next season.

We had a team with some deficiencies in it, now we don't have a team, just a group of individuals trying to play together who can't all last 90 minutes. We needed 3 players a left back, a centre half and another midfielder. The team needed reinforcing, instead Karanka has knocked it down in mid season; I really don't understand what is going on, I was surprised when Walker went on loan, but losing Clough as well? Who do we have to score goals?

I think it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Karanka has backed himself with these new players. It is now mostly his team so he will have to stand and fall by it. I think Clough was as surprised as anyone that he was allowed to go.
