I think this is actually incorrect. You were awful first half. Watch it again and hear the commentators like Neville saying how poor you were and that it is only 1 nil. Second half though you were all over us but apart form one chance for son you needed a wonder strike and pen to get a draw.
Decent game though.
He was okay. Made a smart stop from Dembele in the first half, came out extremely well against son, but then punched an easy catch straight out to wanyama for their goal, then gave away a pen but saved it. He was okay, not terrible.
There was enough there to suggest he would be a decent backup keeper but i really hope we aren’t going to persist with him or mignolet as first choice after this season.
1st half we gave the ball away kids, lpool did nothing with it, i think we were more dominant in the 2nd half than you were 1st,
Spurs didn't create much despite their dominance either. There weren't many good chances from either side in the game.

Agree 're we better first you second. Just disagree 're you were much better.
Good gsme though and you def deserved a draw
played pretty well? he made one good save coming out quickly? he parried a ball any half decent keeper should be catching with one hand tied behind his back and my facking 3 year old nephew would have caught the penalty save too ffs.
Whos teaching him to do this? seriously wheres the handling? sign ben foster and get his gk coach in cause even him and fabianksi are 100 times better then keepers we have doing this crap on a weekly basis the actually catch shots and crosses going faster then 10mph.
Lovren can fack off aswell missing a simple kick for a clearance for the Kane penalty too many facking cabbages in that back 5 just invites pressure that we can't deal with and concede from most the time.
Sick of it.
Get Ward in and ffs get rid of the gk coaches.
We're praising them for doing the basics now?

Woeful in the first half, rescued by a one-off wonder goal in the second and dithering officials. I can appreciate that performances are unusual for Spurs fans used to years of fairly average games but there's still a long journey ahead before they join the Top 4 clubs on the summit of greatness.

level of mediocrity.
Rap we are one of the best sides in the league, we’re jnto the last 16 of the champions league for the first time in what? 9 years? We have been beaten just 3 times all season in the league and are yet to lose at home in the league all season.
We’re not mediocre. I agree we need to start winning things though, that’s why i was so piiiiiissed at the fa Cup shambles against West Brom, and if by the end of next season we still haven’t won anything under Klopp then my patience will be wearing very thin, but we absolutely are not mediocre.

I couldn't care less about being in the last 16 of the Champions League, I couldn't care less about being in the last 4 of it. Win it, or what's the point?
--------------------
Most fans do actually care about the team doing well in the CL. Its odd that some don't.
We support the team. we understand that to be able to invest in players and build the club back up we must be competing at the highest level possible, so that means getting into the latter stages of the CL and being among the best clubs in the league. to not care about any of this really shows a lack of support for the club and a lack of understanding of where we are at the moment in world football.
If we fail to win the league because we can't compete financially with a team that's invested more money in their squad than any club in history and is owned by one of the richest nation states on the planet, well, thats just the reality of the situation. Very few clubs can compete with an ownership group that has hundreds of billions of dollars available to spend. Calling for 'proper owners' really just says, sell out to the middle eastern oil nations.
if you want to be owned by Saudi Arabia, sponsored by Saudi Arabia, play in the Saudi Arabia Stadium, then thats your call. Whine your wee heart out that our present owners merely saved us from closing as a club, brought in a pretty good manager, rebuilt the stadium and have us moving back up the table again and in the knock out stages of the CL for the first time in god knows how long.
For the rest of us, we will support the club no matter where we are, whether it be back in the CL and top 4 and building a team, or mid table and winning a carling cup.
We care about the club. You've clearly stated you don't and are only in it for the trophies.
Also.....
"maybe we would be a lot better than just 4th and the last 16 of the CL."
we are 3rd.
And can't be any further than the last 16 because thats the stage the competition is at. Do try to keep up

I have no problem with folks criticising anyone at the club. Its these characters who can't or maybe refuse to see the whole picture. Shortlight was indeed one of them. Completely disregard how the landscape of football has changed, and blindly decry anything other the club spending money they don't have and winning championship after championship. It really does make you question their allegiances as they just seem to pump out the same myopic rhetoric
