The defence in particular needs attention and a goalkeeper also...lossl is a liability

I would like to see smithies back and have a huddersfield born player in the team

re- Lossl,

LV calls him 'GrobbaLossl' As in Gormless Grobbelaar.
Brilliant one moment, Utter Clown the next...

I think we all secretly admit/know that 'Quality' dependable centre back isn't there yet.
To me, Schindler as good as he is, Is more like Trevor Cherry than a Roy Ellam. And it's another 'Big Roy' we need right now & for next season.

And.........................
Good luck getting a ticket for the Shpuddies game I hope you & UTG get one

It's ridiculous that a stadium that size, And the tight bar-studs can't give an increased away allocation for the day to satisfy demand. Another 2 or 3 thou would cover it.

Wethers, Mooy played a couple of decent crosses and the odd ball from midfield, if you’re content with that, fair enough. For me, he had another average game. Lost the ball, side passes and very limited imagination. Mooy is a central defensive midfielder, that’s why he plays crab football. Even when he played the No 10 role, he didn’t pull up any trees. Pritchard is a class or two, or even three above Mooy. Chalk and cheese!

Yes, Mooy’s cut is nasty enough, he’ll be sore for a time. Town don’t need him. I’d be surprised if Hoyle breaks even if he sells him.

Bottom 3 last season.. Sunderland 26 points, already got more, Boro 28 points, 1 behind, Hull 34.... So 35 keeps you up last season....

I reckon another eleven points should see Town safe. They would then have 38pts, that’s been a safe number in the past too. Just win the next four matches on the bounce, job done!
😉

I've consulted the Tea leaves.
'38'. Possible, Just..
But I'm sure that will be enough anyway

WBA away, win.. 3pts
Spurs away, Loss. Opts.
Swansea home, draw. 1pt.
C Palace h. draw. 1pt.
N'castle a. draw. 1pt.
BHA a. draw. 1pt.
Watford, h. win 3pts.
Chelsea a, loss. 0pt.
Everton h. d. 1pt. <-- the season defining cruncher !
Man City a. loss. 0pt.
Arsenal h. loss, 0pt
total = 11pts.
grand total = 38pts.

The way this season is going, I wouldn't want to finish on anything less than '38'.

I think we'll beat both Swansea and Palace...

posted on 13/2/18

Going by the remaining fixtures i’ve got us on 42 points, which means beating Swansea and Palace. Could even be 44 if we beat Everton at home 🤞

posted on 13/2/18

I have us on 43 points

26 with our goal difference

posted on 13/2/18

Hope you are ALL right guys As in correct

But I feel you are letting the last couple of wins cloud your judgment ! 42, 43, +
A little ambitious I feel.

I'll tell you this..
If you lot are right, & we do secure so many points, I'll be even more annoyed at the woeful tactics & performances since Nov- onwards.
There was literally no need for it...as in playing without intent or desire.

So yeah, Lets see how it all comes to fruition .

Positivity, that’s the key Darn! No second thoughts, no doubts, just a common goal for all HTFC. They played some lovely stuff last Saturday.

Get a little run going and who knows where we may finish?

🤡 🖕

Do one you fookwit!

posted on 13/2/18

That's why he's at Town and not a bigger club.... No more than a very good championship player

posted on 13/2/18

We all mention the goal difference, yet its only a big 4-0 loss for another team and us to win 2-0 or indeed 4-1.. Then that is sorted too..
