Yes it's time for winning. Living in Wales I've had to put up with the dilusional banter from my Welsh butties all week. So it's time to crush the leeks and show the southerners what we are made of.
3-1 as I'm not confident the new defence will be water tight just yet. I'd love Copps to Score but I think Marquis is getting his confidence back so Ill go with him. 8526

I'll also go for 3-1 to the Rovers. Whiteman to score if he starts, otherwise Marquis. Crowd 8298.

Just in case Hound misses it, Motherwell get their second against Dundee and the scorer is CURTIS MAIN - his 5th this season.

Grand Theft Football! An amazing result. Everyone around me wanted Mason off in the first half when he was playing RB over the far side and making tons of mistakes. What they, and I, didn't realise until the second half was that the Charlton LB and winger were close to unplayable individually and impossible to cope with together. Jet-powered midgets. If that wasn't enough their centre half carried the ball from box to box in the first half life a latter day Beckenbauer. Lawlor saved us, our CB cleared off the line - were were being completely marmalised and then in the 93rd minute Blair pops up and sweeps in the equaliser. Like that bad tempered Scottish bloke once said, "Football - bloody hell!"

Well, I and others have criticised us greatly in the past for allowing opponents to snatch last-ditch goals and robbing us and now we are doing it ourselves repeatedly, perhaps showing that luck (if that's what it is) evens itself out over time.

"Lawlor saved us", but is that not his job? The ifollow commentators said of the goal "It looked a simple save" and "You would have expected Lawlor to get that". I believe that Anderson also saved us after Lawlor was beaten in the second half in a one-on-one.

The set-piece hoodoo has not gone away.

I look forward to the highlights.

Great result .
Set piece Hoodoo.
Nope.
Bad defending at set pieces all season.
DF doesn't seem ti be able to sort it out.
As I mentioned a few weeks back when I watched a compilation on you tube i didn't realise that we had conceded so many frim set plays

Just can't see what other fans see in Mason. I spent today watching him closely, just like my mate said a few weeks ago. He is our weakest link and gets targeted by opponents every week ( he's a rothersum fan ) The lad needs to be left out, not just because hes playing like hes lost the plot, but to save his career. Not just like a rabbit caught in the headlights, he's getting to the phase he doesn't want the ball when it's at his side of pitch and just stands there. Yet when it's on the other side of the pitch he wants the ball. Yet to me he seemed to play with more interest once he'd gone to left back, probably down to him getting told he's going to be warming the bench if he doesn't sort himself out

We robbed Charlton today.
Ferguson persists with playing people out of position, Rowe at LB, Blair central midfield etc.
Credit to the lads for keeping going to the end to snatch a point though.
The way things are going we could yet again find ourselves dangerously close to going down again.
No wins since Christmas.
I thought Lawlor could have been better positioned to save their goal but once more he made two or three good saves to keep us in the game.

Forgot to say, McCullough changed the game for us when he came on, won the ball and used it well when he got it.
He has to start on a Tuesday.

First game I've not watched on iFollow. I was going to do so, but have been "proper poorly" with the bug that is going around the USA. After not much sleep. I just could not get out of bed for a 07:00 kick-off - perhaps I was smart for once!
I'll watch the highlights, and as always, I'm thankful for all the comments posted here.

I thought the game was boring and played by 2 poor sides.

Lawlor should have done better with another set piece goal against, however in the 2nd half made 2 great saves.

I said to a pal this morning who is a Charlton fan id like 6 points from either today Tuesday and next Saturday. That's 1 down luckily but hopefully win the next 2 with those 2 sides around us. We are 6 points above the drop come next week I'd like it to be 10 or 12 as we along with potentially 10 others are fighting to keep away from the last 2 relegation spots. Bury and Rochdale are down for me. Draws to wins please!!!

Sorry chaps - can't agree about Lawlor being in any way culpable for their goal. The corner landed plumb on their centre half's head and he banged it down into the ground then up over the goalie. Gordon Banks might have saved it had he not retired years ago. You might reasonably ask who should have been marking their CB. After Blair's error when their player was running in on goal Lawlor came out to narrow the angle, which was pretty much all he could do. Fortunately it gave the CB enough time to get back, slide in and take the ball off the goal-line. All credit to Beestin for 90 mins of effort but Lawlor should have got MoM. McCullough has always been a class act and, for me, is far better in the middle than either Whiteman or Houghton. Neither did well today.

Thanks for the reports lads.
When did blair .move to right back.
Is garret inj?

Blair moved to RB about halfway through the first half and the versatile Mason went to LB to allow Rowe to go to his natural position.
I cant understand why DF set up with Blair CMid instead of how he eventually changed it to.

Who was picking up the CH when he headed home?
It was Anderson and he had his head in his hands afterwards, he knew it was his man who had scored.
He more than made up for it though with that goal saving challenge late on though.
To apportion any hint of blame on Lawlor for letting the player round him though is ridiculous.

Were Charlton a poor team?
I don’t think so, they were streets ahead of us on the day and the way their wide players went past our midfielders and defenders was very impressive.
They will be gutted not to have won the game.

Thanks hound.
Not sure when my next game will be.
Think we will stay up even tho our normal end of season form is usually shocking.
