Different Class

In the meantime, as mediocre as our options are, ffs, Xhaka and Elneny should never be our CM pairing. We experimented with that abomination of a partnership away to Swansea and got humped. But you could never accuse Wenger of being an adaptable, quick learner. Away to Spurs was apparently a great game to repeat the error. That has to be the least dynamic midfield partnership in the division. You don't even need to watch it unfold. It's ridiculous enough on paper.

Dembele always donates our mf. He did it also during his Fulham days. Saying that we have one or the worst midfields of the top teams so not that difficult.

Spurs have identity and a plan of how to play. They have patterns to their play.

I don't think Spurs are any good. Mentally they are a very weak team. Arsenal are just very bad at the moment. I'm not too fussed on how good Spurs are or not, Arsenal are far too behind the rest. That is a worry.

They got 86 points last season - which for most of PL history and before, has been title-winning form and we haven't got close to that since '07/08.

So hell yeah, they are a good team.

Everyone is slowly improving while we are regressing. I thought it wasn't possible to be worst than last season but this season has probably been by far the worst under Wenger.

We truly fallen from grace nothing will change unless Wenger goes, he’s the problem after all as you can the club do invest most of the time and aren’t afraid to spend.

I didn’t see the game but what you’ve said on here backs up everything else I’ve heard and read from spurs fans, neutrals and also arsenal fans.

Always happy to beat you but putting the rivalry aside, it seems that the more Wenger tries to fix things, the more he makes things worse.

Couldn’t agree more and well done for that team despite billionaires fake dollars.

Still annoyed with our board for not going for Pep when he left Bayern. They bottled it big time.

Spurs are a good team at the moment. The main difference is they had a plan and ambition to push on. Whereas we’ve done nothing, assuming we have a given right to always get top 4. Hopefully things are slowly changing here, with the new backroom additions we’ve made, it’s 10 years late, but better than nothing. Next step is to replace Wenger then hopefully we can bounce back. We’re still an attractive option for both good managers and players, so if we do things right from the end of the season I’m confident we can be back in top 4 soon enough, then push on from there.

Many of the goals we concede are basic and preventable. Sort that and that alone is a big step toward top 4. But with Wenger, that will remain neglected. We’re along way from winning a league, but getting amongst the top 4 isn’t that far away

All top clubs changed managers, and all are doing better than Arsenal. It's not rocket science.

posted on 11/2/18

Changing managers is not always a sensible option just look how many managers we have tried since back in the 80's.

Getting the right manager is the key and for the first time in a long while we have that, if we can hold on to him.

Technically EVERY GOAL IS PREVENTABLE - just concentrate on goals that were down to really poor defending

It just seems accepted at Arsenal now that we are shiiiiit and that’s that

No pressure from the fans, the media, the board. We are garbage and nobody seems to care

I remember the days we would suffer these defeats and Wenger would come out looking a broken man but now he doesn’t even look sad when we lose anymore. He knows after somehow being offered a contract last summer that he is here to stay for as long as he likes and could get us relegated if he felt like it

We've got nothing to lose by sacking him now, we're about as $hit as we can possibly be given the club's size and finances yet somehow he'll still be here next season. I pray for the day this old fool is gone so we can start being Arsenal FC again and not Arsene FC.

Relax folks. Wenger will be gone in the summer.

Why do you think this, the club is too cheap to pay him off so unless they make a compromise and move him upstairs he's staying put.

posted on 11/2/18

The club is too cheap? We have spent £50m+ on two players and gave another wages of £350k a week. Even Man City players are not on that much money.

Wenger will have one season left in the summer. So its either extend him or sack him. And two seasons out of the top 4 is not something Arsenal can afford with Spurs building a new stadium. Its business. I am quite sure Wenger will be gone.

Spurs fan in peace.

I how honestly thought Wilshere was absolutely superb yesterday. When he is fit and playing he is up there ad one of the best midfielders IMO.

I still don't think you are out of he top 4 rave just yet.

Let's not go overboard fellas.

We can't beat them away from home, they can't beat us away from home.

Been like that since they got Pochettino.
