Jerry Uche Mbakogu is a Nigerian footballer who plays for the Italian club Carpi as a Striker. He is often dubbed the 'New Didier Drogba' due to his pace and physical presence. Wikipedia
Knowing our luck the new Enoch Showunmi
Could be another yeboah.....
I think that’s a touch optimistic harj!
This is guy is 25 And doesn’t score goals. They must see something in him but looks more likely to be the new habib habibou.
Yeboah was already a name where he was, he was a beast b4 he arrived.
As for the Drogba link, Didier Droga was a world class striker and an all time Footballing great.
The only comparisons is that they are all brothers.
When I checked him out on Google after seeing we were being linked with him, I thought : "25?! Yeah, right!" when saw pics of him
Habib Habibou springs to mind
We never learn. Might turn out good, but how many of our foreign gambles do? 2?
4.5 million is a lot of money on a striker that doesn't scoe, and yet we weren't willing to spend 6 on a striker who is scoring and is younger and is English.
Strange.
why would we pay 4.5 mill for an italian 2nd division player who has done nothing and was on loan in russia doing nothing of note there either and was available apparantly for 2 mill but ended up being recalled due to lack of playing time. Hope this is rubbish as we had enough carp players come in from serie b and dont want anymore

This
Could even get Bartley this summer with that
If we are playing four and a half million for this player then the fraud squad need to go over our accounts cause someone is pulling one somewhere
Sorry Harj, nothing like Yeboah who was already a known goal scorer at Hamburg would much prefer us buying a striker who was proven and before someone says it, I know Yeboah had no experience of English football but he was scoring at a quality level
