Why is every sport just crap these days?

Refereeing in the EPL is a disgrace; that farce of a last race in F1 last season; this decision tonight; for those that watch UFC, there was a fight between Strickland and Hermansson that the former CLEARLY dominated, and one judge gave it to the latter

Tbf we just had probably the best NFL season ever, tennis is picking up after a few dull years, and the NBA is the most unpredictable it's been since the late 00s.

Also, re the F1, that was a masterstroke in terms of creating an entertaining spectacle.

Refereeing in the nfl is just as bad as other sports.

Take the PI call on the Bengals at the end of the SB, they let the exact same thing go earlier in the game.

Disgraceful but not surprised. This was Taylors homecoming and nothing was going to stop that.

Re F-1, if I was watching for the spectacle and not the sport, I’d watch a film.

We watch sport for genuine, honest, competitive action. It’s like the difference between watch MMA and WWE. They share a lot of similarities, but are fundamentally different at their core.

This fight - Taylor versus Catterall - has actually been referred to the police! Albeit, by Catterall’s MP… 😂

Taylor offering a rematch at catch-weight, not mentioning the fact that this would render the world titles - every aspiring and current boxer’s ultimate dream - ineligible for that rematch. I give up.

Yeah it was marred by what happened with Conlan. I'm guessing it was the way he fell out of the ring rather than the punch damage. Glad to hear he's regained consciousness though.

Yeah he was obviously knocked out so probably wouldn't have been able to protect himself at all when falling from a pretty big height on hard floor. But his being awake is promising.

Phenomenal fight and good to see he was ok at the end. Best fight in 2022 thus far.
