You haven’t misheard, you are correct, but it’s often over complicated in boxing as the mandatory very rarely gets the fight they are “mandated” for.

Whyte was mandatory for about three years before he got the fight

And yes I'm very aware that being a mandatory guarantees nothing in terms of getting the fight.

I just use IPTV in England. Got rid of sky years ago

Baffles me that the sky commentary still can’t work out that fighters - particularly energy-sapped heavyweights - take rounds off after a large exertion of energy in the round preceding.

Zhang has fairly obviously done that three or four times in the fight, but the commentary are none the wiser

hate when the fight before a big main event goes all the way to the judges

Hrgovoc is weird, walks always back to the opponent

Is this what the WC is going to be like?

Hearn guaranteed that one of Zhang or Hrgovic are going for a deep sleep.

Bizarre but very entertaining fight

I have been thinking whether Hrgovic’s bizarre behaviour has to do with a concussion suffered earlier on in the fight…

Hasn’t looked like this before - hopefully just a night off for him

Well that could be preferable to a couple of the England games I am sure.....but more the lack of any sort of atmosphere

I'm more annoyed this has put the main fight back

Think Zhang has won

Zhang is underrated

Not sure if Zhang did enough in the end. He lost a lot of those later rounds.
