Wtf was the point in that? I feel bad for anyone who paid money at any point to see that "boxing" match, jesus even those Paul sheet shows are more entertaining than that. Everyone involved should be ashamed, and again another sign that boxing needs some major changes at many many levels....
It was a farce and I'm glad I didn't watch it.
There are so many people complicit to what took place:
1. Fury/Warren for hand picking Chisora
2. Chisoras corner for not stopping it earlier
3. The people that paid to see this fight
4. The media that didn't push back against this fight.
5. The media that pushed the fight.

Add to that list Guv all the different bodies, since these guys basically fight 2 times a year max and if they aren't the no1 or at the very least no2 contender you should be vacating the belts. I know the division is weak but surely Chirsora is nowhere near the top.....

Agreed the sanctioning boards are driven by greed.
fury held back on his punches so much and even when he did accidentally let harder punches go he then held him up to stop him falling
Was just a glorified exhibition
Did the fight sell a lot of seats and PPV?
I didn't watch it and I know no one in my group of boxing fan friends who did.
Do they ever release the number of PPV subs sold?
Would imagine that would be one of the lowest ever.

Was pretty much full to the brim in there last night other than way up too
Hopefully the PPV flopped, should never have been £28
Never get it really, they’d make more money making it £10 or £15 because more would buy
Just price people out instead
Dumb business sense
They priced it high because they anticipated lower buys, hence the buys they did get, would be at a higher price point.
It was a scam and I'm sure many casuals fell for it.

Yup they surely would have made way more money if they'd stuck it on for £10 ppv as people would actually have bought the fight. I'm sure almost nobody paid £28 for that predictable outcome. The only memorable thing about it was Fury squaring up to Usyk after the fight and calling him an ugly little man lol.
They don't even bother putting a good undercard together. For £28 you would want at least 3 big title fights and a couple of exciting up and comers.

For the sake of future fights I really hope it flopped. £28 should be the absolute maximum tier that we're expected to pay for very best fights. I dread to think that we start getting like the US where they're charged up to a 100 dollars for ppv fights. Ridiculous.
The undercard had to be poor because the two main event fighters were demanding the highest sums of money. In order to give Chisora that payday, they had to ration the rest of the money between the undercard.
watched it on my amazon firestick
would never dream of paying £20+ for a fight anymore
absolute rip off

They should have gone with a different opponent to Chisora who nobody wanted in the first place and given us a much better undercard. Otto Wallin would have been a much more justifiable opponent than Chisora and would have cost way less.
Wallin gave Fury all sorts of problems in their first fight and would have given him a much better challenge.
