Didn''t see any robbery last night as I thought it was very close, but I did see a Whyte who looks like he's continuing a decline. Felt like he was more concerned with getting uppercut that he didn't really let his hands go enough. But credit to Franklin also.
Hope an AJ rematch doesn't happen. Too many rematches going on in the HW division and AJ wins comfortably. It'd be a waste when he can fight someone better and more competitive like Wallin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My interest in an AJ vs Whyte rematch was slim before this fight and it's almost non existent now.
AJ needs a light warm up, so I suppose it serves a purpose for him but we need to see AJ vs Wilder in 2023.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It needs to happen but will it? I doubt it. I'm not even confident in Fury fighting Usyk next year for the undisputed. I hope so but it's hard not to be cynical with boxing right now.
In an ideal world Fury fights Usyk, AJ fights whoever (Wallin or Hrgovic would be preferable over Whyte IMO), then Fury, if he should be victorious, fights AJ or Joyce. Meanwhile Wilder fights Ruiz, then Wilder, if he's victorious, fights Joyce or AJ (whoever isn't fighting the undisputed winner). Then the winner of Wilder vs AJ or Joyce, fights the winner of Fury vs AJ or Joyce, and hopefully it ends up being Fury vs AJ or Joyce while Wilder fights whoever it was that also lost to Fury. That would make for a perfect 2023.

yeah lol should be a DQ
This card has been absolutely awful, how Bob Arum has the audacity to talk about Hearn as a promoter is laughable.
Nothing from these commentators about the shots after the bell!
so the fight got stopped after the bell.... due to shots after the bell
And the main event of a pay per view at 9pm??
