Golovkin beat him in their first fight. The second was close but I think Canelo edged it.
Yeah Golovkin won the first fight for sure. Even though he was already a bit past his best at that point. Can see why Canelo didn't want to fight him earlier. Second fight was much closer, could have been a draw.

It's at a point where they should just make drugs legal in boxing. We all know these guys are using it.
What like cycling where they juice because everyone else is juiced
Yeah everyone is juicing in boxing. In a sport as littered with corruption as boxing is it's a given. And it's all about who you know, just ask Floyd and his pals at USADA lol.
Big night of boxing tonight, even if you think the Ngannou fight is a farce Parker vs Zhang promises to be a cracker.
Had a score on a double of Ngannou and Zhiang to both win by stoppage for a bit of interest. Unlikely I know but FN can bang and it only takes one or two clean shots to end it at HW so you never know.
predictions for tonight then guys?
AJ - Ngannou - AJ - ref stoppage, AJ to bang him up badly but fails to KO him.
Parker - Zhang - very hard to call, not sure if it goes the distance either. Zhang could KO Parker at any time, however his gas tank may see him get stopped down the stretch.
Not as deep an undercard as we might have expected for a Saudi night.

Wouldn't say it's unlikely. If Ngannou hits AJ clean with a strong right then it's nighty night. Anything can happen hence the appeal. Logic dictates that AJ wins though.
I just hope AJ doesn't give us an ultra cautious sit behind his jab and don't engage much bore fest like we got in the Ruiz 2 fight.
The Parker Zhang fight excites me a lot as a contest. I think Zhang is probably just a bit too much of a beast for Parker but if Parker can get into the later rounds relatively unscathed then it's his fight to win.
Im not buying into this Ngannou just needs to land clean on AJ to take him out. He has never been knocked out tbh the right hand he took of Klit was thunderous.
Stopped on his feet yeah, but KO'd? im not so sure.
Well land clean with a very significant punch of course. KO/TKO/stoppage it's all the same result.
AJ should have enough though, he's the seasoned boxer with years of experience even if he did get into the fight game a bit later in life.

That’s what I envisage with any Ngannou win - not a Lewis Rahman style icing, but AJ being stopped on his feet after having senses scrambled. It’s feasible if AJ gets careless - Ngannou will certainly be looking for it.

AJ's best bet is to ease into the first couple rounds then just upping the volume round by round.
I just have the feeling that AJ might annihilate him, I think its the poorest matchup of all the top heavies for Francis.
I actually think Fury was the poorest matchup Ngannou could have had. A novice boxer up against a supposedly master boxer and mover. And he didn't exactly struggle against Fury for whatever reason.
Ngannou is used to massive, hard hitting guys coming at him in MMA so I don't think he's overly worried about AJ from a physical perspective. It's about whether AJ can keep this as a boxing contest and outbox him.
If AJ is foolish enough to start trading with Ngannou then it becomes a very different fight where anything can happen. But I suspect we see an ultra cautious AJ trying to stay behind his jab.

Ngannou isnt exprienced but he is nowhere near the novice as is being made out, he had about 5-7 years experience as a boxer before switching to MMA.
AJ via UD. I think he'll box smart, as the power of Ngannou will act as a strong deterent. I am curious to see how this fight goes and how it looks on the inside.
I don't see AJ stopping Ngannou tbh. Then again it's difficult to see anyone stopping him as he's like a Terminator. If AJ wins it's by decision in my opinion.

The point being AJ has infinitely more competitive boxing experience at this level.
The Medway Mauler with a stunning ko.
Parker by stoppage, think Zhang is too old and being over rated because of the Joyce wins
AJ Ngannou is tough. AJ’s been good the last two fights but prior usually always found it tough to avoid trouble or have that moment where he gets wobbled. He should box Ngannou head off but Ngannou stopping him wouldn’t surprise me
AJ by UD
Parker by TKO/KO 7-12
Joshua to quit on his stool end of round six.
