AJ beat Takam who then lost to Chisora
He beat Breazale in 9 who lost to Wilder in round 1
He lost to Usyk twice and couldn’t even make him flinch yet Dubois put him on his ass
And old klitschhko and an old pulev and an old povetkin
On that basis Parker is the only credible win on AJ’s record

----------------------------------------------------------------------
So..you were saying?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wilder finished mentally thought he’d come back in this fight evidently not
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's always been overrated. Don't think AJ would chicken out of a fight with him now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can’t be that bad given he’s won about 40 fights by knockout and He knocked fury the best in the world down 3 times, Klitschko couldn’t land a glove on fury, is he over rated?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fury was at his best in both the Klit and second Wilder fight and neither opponent landed a glove.
Wilder has been overrated though. Padded his record out with a load of bums but when fighting any particularly decent fighter he got exposed. His 3 best opponents he's lost against.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The thing I don’t get is why it’s so important to you to try put someone down?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm just speaking what I believe is true. It's why I thought Zhang was going to beat him and that's what happened.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you thought Hrgovic would win and that isn’t what happened so why didn’t CV count in that fight?
It’s like CV only matters when you’re trying to put someone down that’s all I’m saying
As on CV basis Dubois was always going to win

also far better than Hrgovic’s record who you and Superb were literally licking earlier saying how he was gonna beat Dubois and Dubois so CV didn’t matter then Lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In fairness I switched to Dubois before the fight started so my prediction was correct.
That list just shows how weak Wilder's resume was though. Who's Malik Scott ? He's a nobody who became Wilder's trainer for some reason. Stiverne the worst WBC Champ in decades. Helenius was almost pulled out of retirement to fight Wilder. It's a totally unconvincing list apart from Ortiz.

Don't think anyone is saying that Wilder was mediocre but his win record doesn't stand up to much scrutiny at all when you compare him to most other WBC Champs. And in hindsight he was an overrated Champion even if he had a massive punch.
History isn't going to remember Wilder as top tier and I imagine he'll get forgotten about over the decades apart from his admittedly exciting trilogy against Fury.

Exactly my point, it’s not the people on the record that was impressive, it was that his first 40 fights he knocked out all of them and won 39 of them by knockout
Regardless of opposition that’s impressive, and if he wasn’t that good or actually that powerful he wouldn’t have won pretty much all of them by knock out
Superb, Frank Bruno is considered a legend by most

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm never shy of nitpicking Mike Tyson's record because there aren't enough wins against truly top class fighters in their prime for my liking. But it's leagues better than Wilder's. Comparing their win record is like comparing Premiership with League 1 or 2 quite honestly.
I don't think Wilder even ever beat a fighter as good as Trevor Berbick who Tyson destroyed.
Bruno and Wilder have similar resumes yet Wilder probably wins overall. Bruno’s considered a legend but Wilder’s considered over rated and was never that good and will be forgotten about
That’s where I find no sense Lol
Superb, Frank Bruno is considered a legend by most
---------------
Not by me he isn't. A very loved fighter at the time by the British public but that doesn't make him a legend. Not even close. A good Heavyweight fighter though no doubt, he gave Lennox Lewis a very tough fight in Cardiff.
Bruno fought much better fighters than Wilder. We'll have to continue this tomorrow.

Everyone’s record can be nit picked to try shine negative on it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm never shy of nitpicking Mike Tyson's record because there aren't enough wins against truly top class fighters in their prime for my liking.

Not by me he isn't. A very loved fighter at the time by the British public but that doesn't make him a legend. Not even close. A good Heavyweight fighter though no doubt, he gave Lennox Lewis a very tough fight in Cardiff.

Bruno fought much better fighters than Wilder. We'll have to continue this tomorrow.
