* than Wilder did

I think we both agree overall

I’m just saying I hate how people knee jerk to fighters just because they lose one or two fights especially when they’re literally old and over the hill. Boxing seems to be the only sport where people forget Father Time exists

So, AJ v Dubois at Wembley then?

I still would fancy AJ to beat him. Dubois was getting punched to the head quite easily with a lack of head movement against Hrgovic. I think AJ is another level and punches harder.

Yeh Dubois’ lack of defense is appalling but could be fun if he lands on AJ

But probably would be Ngannou 2.0

I'm sure he'll give AJ more of a fight than Ngannou did but yeah probably a stoppage for AJ at some point. We need to see this new version of AJ against someone more substantial so Dubois with his momentum would be a decent opponent for him in that regard. Wouldn't be my first choice of fights I'd want to see though.

Turki calls the shots. What Turki wants he gets.

Dubois/Joshua in a raucous 90,000 sellout in September with our licensing laws would be an eye opener for The Sheikh as well

He was fuming at Dubois’ dad? Last night who was stood up blocking the view and trying to approach ring, kept beckoning him to sit down lol

Definitely need to see AJ vs Dubois next. Hearn has been talking about Hrgovic most likely being next for AJ for months now so if they don't face the guy that just beat Hrgovic then that would be very strange. Especially if AJ wants a belt.

Personally I think Dubois on current form gives AJ some very significant issues and it's a fight we need to see. We can all talk about AJ being back to his best but apart from Wallin he's fought absolute plodders since his "return" and nobody remotely on Dubois's level.

So let's see this fight next and see if AJ really is as back as we're being told.

Parker vs Dubois
Kabayel vs Hrgovic

Would like to see them 3

Winner of AJ Zhang fights winner of Parker Dubois

Loser fights loser

Why should Zhang jump the queue just because he's beaten a clearly well past it Wilder who needs to retire ? Joseph Parker already beat Zhang so that means Parker is ahead of Zhang in the pecking order.

Also Dubois is the one in the driver seat right now with the IBF interim strap and now number one mandatory for the IBF title replacing Hrgovic.

Really it should be AJ vs Parker next with the winner facing Dubois if we want to be fair about this. Parker has been on a much more impressive winning run than AJ of late beating the likes of Wilder and Zhang along the way.

I think AJ could count himself fairly lucky to jump ahead of Parker to get a straight shot for the IBF interim title just because he last beat a fighter with 0 wins and 2 losses to his pro boxing career.

Actually just misread your post Oscar so disregard my last comment.

Does seem that AJ gets a lot more credit than he probably deserves at the moment. Like he's king of the hill right now when he hasn't beaten anyone of real note for years. With the exception of Wallin perhaps who's only famous for giving Tyson that bad cut.

For me I'd like to see:

AJ vs Parker next with the winner getting to fight Dubois for the IBF interim title. Dubois has done his bit beating Hrgovic so let's see the other two best guys out there fight it out.

Kabayel could fight Zhang next to see if he's really up for fighting the really top guys in the division. Don't think Kabayel has done quite enough to say he's part of that conversation just yet, even if the signs look very good. A win against Zhang would change that though.

Kabayel's wins against Sanchez and Makhmudov are impressive but neither of those guys are huge names. He needs a win against a name like Zhang to take him to the next level and then he can start looking at a title shot.

Is everyone writing off Joyce now? Seems a bit harsh on him. His Parker and Dubois wins have aged very nicely. Those 2 along with Zhang would be about top 7 now.

I assumed Joyce would retire after Zhang tbh

I think chisora beats Joyce tbh

If Joyce can't beat an inactive 40 year old semi retired Chisora then he should immediately retire himself. I reckon Joyce will win though. He does get hit to the face too much but I still reckon he could give a lot of these HWs trouble.

Chisora is the HW gatekeeper....... he's the punch bag you have to beat and look good doing so in order to be relevant. Joyce should retire if he doesn't win well against Chisora.....

Is Jared Anderson still in the mix or is he waiting for the big 3 to get very old and retire? There was a lot of hype about him a few years back.

Just seen fights.

Great performance by Dubois, despite taking some big shots early. He has an underrated chin but Hrgovic looked like he didn't want the win enough. He looked too relaxed and nonchalant and Dubois was able to come back into the fight and get the win.

I think Wilder should go into retirement now. This wasn't the worst performance but he looked even more one dimensional that he ever has. He landed some good right hands but I don't think he believes anymore. Zhang was patient and bided his time and when it came, it was rather comical. Wilder was spun around and he looked to the referee before eating a big shot that sent him down.

Fights to make next:

AJ vs Dubois
Zhang vs Parker?

I'd be ok with seeing Joshua in the ring with Dubois, Zhang, Kabayel or Parker. Those are the best 4 he could face outside of Fury or Usyk.

AJ vs Dubois
Zhang vs Kabayel
Parker vs maybe Joyce again if he gets through Chisora

The Saudi's are launching an event at Wembley, which I assume, will be headlined by AJ. Dubois would be a good dance partner in front of a home crowd.

The hype died with Anderson when he struggled with an aged Charles Martin. He's also talked about retiring early so his future doesn't look so rosy.

American heavyweights are in the dumps right now.
