Let`s be fair Arsenal have won three trophies past four years, and where are they now playing at some god forbidden place in the Arctic Circle this evening.

Frankly I would sooner be where Spurs are at the moment with no trophies, than where Arsenal are with a couple of cups, and sinking faster than the Titanic.

You are doinng brilliantly well at the moment, but Arsenal have achieved more than you.

They aren't in a good place now, but no club is ever on top forever. You need to start winning things whilst you are one of the better teams or else you'd have to say it is a failure.

At the end of the day, we know we’re a good team. Most fans appreciate what’s going on at the club and are enjoying it. We are doing great and there’s nothing wrong with someone saying you need to win trophies to be at the next level. As a spurs fan I love the journey more than anything but wouldn’t it be nice to end a journey at the destination.

its a disgrace tbh.. especially if you think about the quality of sides we have had in that time...

we used to pick up the odd trophy when our squad was littered with dross

we will be picking up the fa cup and the champs league this season anyway so its all good

Never quite get why not winning trophies is counted as being embarrassing. Some clubs have not won a trophy for 50 years or more, doesn`t mean their clubs are an embarrassment. Try telling Sheffield Wednesday or Huddersfield Town fans their clubs are an embarrassment.

If trophies meant as much as those insecure lot want it to mean, then everyone would be a Barca/Real Madrid fan.

This is the most ridiculous viewpoint i've ever heard. Especially considering the amount of years arsenal have been in CL compared to spurs.

Does any other spurs fan feel this way? Surely not. If this season ends trophyless again would you not have preferred a few fa cups?

Unfortunately not everybody has the same closed-minded opinion that trophies means everything. Some people just enjoy the journey, end of the day nothing more cringe than fans taking credit for picking a successful team.

Although that has merit. A journey has a beginning and end, if spurs' journey ends with nothing it will be deemed a failure.

I never expected chelsea to win anything growing up, but munich is still the best night football wise of my life. Nothing more cringe than fans taking he p!ss out of rivals who outperform them...

Edin would you rather this spurs team compete in the CL and arsenal stay in europa, and you win nothing. Or win trophies no matter what competition you are in?

I remember that Newcastle team that came close more easily than I do Spurs winning the league cup in 99/00. I remember the Liverpool team that came close and ended 2nd more than our team that won the league cup around then - or whoever won the FA Cup - or Europa. I am sure that the Newcastle & Liverpool fans enjoyed their seasons more than we did.

hmm strange viewpoint. I bet newcastle fans look back on that season with absolute dread. All the wumming given to arsenal over recent years, at the end of the season they have been the ones smiling. Atleast until the league starts again

And no winning 1 or 2, of the top 4/5 trophies.

I cannot remember much at all the season we finished 6th except the FA cup and CL win. Was fantastic.

Again depends on the trophy, league cup no - fa cup not really. CL - EL yes.
