The snow is over the pavements and not likely to thaw. I might do a reconnaissance mission on Sat morning.
It's still coming down and most schools are closed.
However, it is going to improve and the only concern will be the surrounding areas, by Pride Park along with the approach routes.
So, it may be on or it may be off. No in between.
At present I think it’s most likely to be off, no doubt on health and safety grounds around the stadium.
with ground heating, I can't see it being cancelled not withstanding Spart's comments on the form of these two sides, which I can sympathise with.
In a disgraceful and unsurprising move most of the lefty teachers of Derby have had the schools closed with scant regard for the parents who have real jobs in the real world.
How this affects the footy is difficult to tell but I fully expect those same Commies to happily negotiate those same wintry conditions should the match go ahead; go figure.

On further thought Bas is likely to be right - above.
And there is room for much hope if 666 is correct in his assessment of the political persuasion of the county's teachers. could just save us from an excess of wishy washy Mayism.
I'm gutted, was looking forward to work today. That's a whole day of maths and computer science the kiddies are missing out on
Oh well, can always start the revolution from my bed.

From the DCFC website:
Derby County are appealing for volunteers to shovel snow around Pride Park before Saturday's match against Fulham FC.
Mel Morris stated "We are appealing for our fans to help; if we can get enough snow brought in there's still a chance we can get this game called off."

They will have to take into account Fulham fans travelling. I can see it being off. More snow forecast for Derby tmoro evening and into the early hours.

Someone should make a fairly obvious joke about shovelling the $hit off the PP pitch whilst they’re at it....π€
Don't think there are any Forest fans on there Will.
The ‘joke’ earlier was actually about shovelling stuff ON to the pitch Will. Not surprised you didn’t understand it though
Im off to Edinburgh tomorrow !!!
Hope to be back for kick off
Selfish, I know, but I'm hoping it's off. Just found out that my new internet provider has failed to dispatch the router. Won't be here for 3-5 days, so unlikely to be online for a bit.
Just thought I'd let you know, so you don't think I've done a 'Spart'.

Edinburgh? Yeah, good luck with that!
The Hebling is there. The Old Town looks like Hogwarts!
Nice city Edinburgh. Lived there for 2 years in the sixties. I wish we had settled there.

When was that ever taken into consideration.
I remember going to Sheff Weds and being told the game was off and hour before KO.
Conditions where like this for a forest game a few years ago. They cleared the ground and the roads.
I expect this game to be ON.
People need to get a grip of reality.
