I bet that went down a storm at the local Momentum meeting

Rees Mogg, even has a Hitler hair cut. Just can't get away with the moustache yet but that will come when he's Furher and all the Tories will cheer when he talks about one rule, one race, one leader.

According to an article I read Moggs Dad is instrumental in the New World order buying land in New Zealand in preparation for a global apocalypse. Do you think his views may have rubbed off and Rees sees the chance to advance the family cause.

Scotland Cancelled, Apparently I cannot get a Virgin to take me north of Newcastle.

Mrs VC sent me to Tesco to buy some milk. I also bought some beer and as I type I'm enjoying a bottle or two of Charles Wells Bombardier. I've got a bottle of Glenlivet and might try a bit of that later.

People are panicking about the snow, this is nothing compared with 1962 and 1982 when the snow was higher than the hedges. Ramdini might remember 1947 when apparently it was really bad. 666 is right, the young Corbynites are a bunch of (fill in un PC word here)

yes I remember that winter VC10. As I went to school the snow was higher than the single decker Trent bus I was travelling in and there was still r lying snow at the start of June. We managed!

In 1982 the sea froze over and there were cars driving across the Thames in London. Somewhere I have a photo of a car near the Houses of Parliament.

Also I take no comfort whatsoever from the fact that we have a weak opposition just at the time when we have the most incompetent government of my (long) lifetime.

You'd be doing well to find a virgin anywhere near Newcastle.

I hope it's off, for the rather selfish reason that I most likely won't be able to get anywhere near PP tomorrow.

The A515 looks more like something out of ice road truckers with 5 foot drifts and even though I'd stand half a chance at that, it's the abandoned cars in the way that render it a complete dead loss.

Just back from my abortive visit to Liverpool. Checked on the NRE web site this morning and it said the Sheffield Liverpool train was on time. Got to Sheffield and it said cancelled. Well that's the money for the Terracotta Army exhibition ticket down the pan plus the train fair from Thorne to Sheffield. Will I get compensation for this? I think you all know the answer.

Train fair! Is that some sort of exhibition for railway enthusiasts?

No snow to speak-of here Spart, you should have planned ahead and booked a hotel for a couple of nights earlier. Plenty to see in Liverpool

The last time I was in Liverpool I was attacked by a cobra. Scared the $hit out of me. Dangerous place to live.

I did plan ahead by buying a train ticket in advance. That was three weeks ago. Should get that money back.

Attacked by a cobra in Liverpool? Sure it wasn't Lucknow?

Don't worry about missing the Terracotta Army exhibition: simply divert your attention to the North Stand during any home match to get the full effect.

The ivory billed woodpecker, the most endangered animal in the world, is ironically the only living creature that can tolerate Spart's presence without attacking.

Not surprised, driving on the wrong side of the road..

That's what I thought Rugby but accepted it was the M62 because that's what 666 said. Just shows you should never believe anything he says.

Meanwhile on the real M62.

Instead of going nowhere on a train I could have been going nowhere in a car.

That's a rather expensive way to keep warm on the BBC article Spart. Kind of the Highways Agency to make the bonfire though

He must have set the heater a bit too high. Actually it's the sort of thing that should happen to Range Rovers.
