Lubo accounts are public. All clubs know what each other have to spend even TC knew where we were in the budget league.

Not where we are spending it, how many players we are signing, what positions we are looking at etc. If AR came out and said "my five year plan requires us to sign a CB in the next 3 weeks", then all clubs are instantly going to charge us more for the CB we have publically said that we need.
I would also like to see a 5 year plan,
like somebody else said buying back ER was a big step forward, and more than likely in the plan - which is great.
but success on the pitch is what we're really after. I'd suspect if we would carried on our form from the start of the season we prob wouldn;t be all arguing, sorry debating about AR's social media comments or what ever.
Also all this nonsense about an owner needing to be homegrown and local
By my count only 4-5 PL clubs are owned by local owners and only one of those owns a club currently in the top 6. Plenty of Championship clubs doing well are owned by foreign owners. Where you come from has nothing to do with being a succesful owner.
If i had 1 billion then Leeds United would be mine and you guys would all be very happy very quickly.
Only if you had a 5 year plan.

Those who come from money seem to do better.
Just saying...

43, see that HNC in Business studies you did in 1981 was worth it!!

Thanks for the insult Jonty. I expect better from you.
For the record I have a B.Sc. in Electronics and have run my own successful IT business for the last 10+ years. Just because I make the odd glib comment on here doesn't mean I'm not capable, it just reflects how tired and time-starved I am.
I'm getting effing fed up of this board. Too many keyboard warriors on here lashing out in all directions. Think I'm going to pack it in.
43, you have taken that completely the wrong way, it was meant as humour same as your comment was.
Ok Jonty - just getting over sensitive I guess after a few digs from others and all the other sniping that's happening around here. Thanks for letting me know - no worries!
43, just ignore Jonty like the rest of us.
I'm also trying the humor thing.
We all take ourselves a little too seriously here sometimes, myself included.
Most, maybe all here, are pretty nice in person. I have been lucky to meet quite a few, Jonty having been one of the first at the Green Man, way back when, eh?
I wonder if they ever figured out what was wrong with him that made him go green like that...
No worries 43, apologies if it came acriss another way.
What a bitter sweet day that was Jonny.
Great to see Leeds at Wembley, but then I met you!
That’s it!!!
I’ve had it!
I’m out of here!
Actually we met before it went t!ts up.
It got worse Jonny I met GBZ later!
